Wheels and tires

So I have an opportunity to pick up a new set of weld racing wheels (front/rear) with new tires for 1k. Problem is rear tires are 26x10.5x15. I currently run a 28" tall tire with 4.30 gears. The plan for next season was to go with MT et street bias 28x11.5x15. I know this is a hell of a deal but will the rears be worthless to me?

Probably. You don’t provide enough info to really answer.

What racing are u running, trap speed, gear and rpm uncross the line?

U could always just sell the rear tires and put the 28” on

Car is an 07 gt with procharger. I trap at 117. Rpm is right around 6k in 4th gear. Transmission is 2.66 magnum xl

What height is current tire? And 4th is 1:1?

27.8" and correct 4th 1:1.

Well the 26” tire will bring your trap rpm to about 6500-6600, so if u don’t have issue with reving that high, you’re ok.
