Depends on what look you’re after and what you do with the car … just street, or drag racing, or track days? On my 12 GT500 I took off the factory staggered 19”F/20” rear and put 19x9.5” with 285/35 all around so that I could rotate front to back … primarily because I do some track days with the car.

Since you're considering 20s, I assume you aren't looking for a street/strip setup?
The "goldilocks" zone for handling performance on these cars on the street while still allowing normal tire rotation is an 18" or 19" X 10" wide wheel with 40-45mm offset. The 19s don't really gain you anything over 18s except for a larger selection of 285 width tires. 20s have plenty of tire choice as well but will generally be heavier, more expensive and give a harsher ride. Up to you if the tradeoff is worth it for the look.

Here's my 18x10 F (285/40/18) and 18x11 R (315/40/18).

15" x 10" is the way to go if we want max traction.

But for the street I use a staggered 18" set up. 20"s for me are too harsh of a ride. You also lose a lot of sidewall height which can hamper traction from a standing start.
