Which fuel pump for whipple supercharged 2005 Mustang GT

Good afternoon, I need some serious help please. I purchased a 2005 Mustang GT Whipple supercharged with 60k miles from an estate sale and the current fuel pump in the car is a stock one that someone has replaced and taken out the dual high flow fuel pump. This is causing a check engine light and "B1202-60 Fuel sender circuit open" and P0463-FF Fuel level sensor A circuit high", and also causing my gas gauge to go down to zero and "fuel elvel low DTE FLI data error". I have attached pictures, can someone please help me see which fuel pump I need to buy to correct this and where to purchase it from? I have done a ton of research myself but just keep hitting a dead wall, I need everyones expertise please. I think I need one with dual pump but has ONE fuel line going out and has TWO connecters on it.

A very common fuel system upgrade for a supercharger is a 07 to 09 GT 500 Dual pump. That may be what was there before. The complete kit was sold by Ford Racing and it dropped right in. Some years had a different fuel level sending unit that was an issue and would cause the fuel gage to read incorrectly but would work otherwise.

Looking at what you have, it appears you need to locate a Ford Performance Dual Fuel Pump assembly. It will have a single, 6 wire connector on it that matches the 6 wire connector you do not have connected to anything. There are 3 big wires for the pumps and 2 small wires for the fuel gauge in the connector.
I see the Ford Racing 2006 to 2009 GT 500 Dual Fuel Pump kit is available on eBay. If I remember correctly, it comes with the correct fuel level sending unit attached. There would also be a second fuel pump module included in the kit. It’s a shame you don’t have the dual pump assembly they took out.

The 05-early 07 models are tricky with the fuel level sensor units. Hopefully, the passenger side sending unit is stock.
You don’t need a dual pump system for your car to work. A Walbro 400L with a Boost-A-Pump handles my Edelbrock SC at 11# of boost and E85.

Thank you so much!! Can you please show me on ebay, I have been trying to look but am unable to find anything. Also when you mention, the 6 wire connector that is currently not connected to anything, will that wire connect onto the new fuel pump and then where would the other wires connect to? Will the new pump have two wires coming out of it to connect to? And would one connect to the other passenger side fuel level sensor ? Sorry I am totally dumb at this and just trying my best to trouble shoot.

It appears the passenger side is stock. Can you show me where I can buy a walbro400L with boost A pump, thank you so much, will this pump fit into the wiring I have shown in the above pictures?

Looking at your wiring, it looks close to what I have installed.
First is the 6 wire plug with 5 wires in it. This plugs directly into the 06 to 09 GT 500 pump hat. The next pic. is the two other connectors on the harness. One has two small wires in it (fuel gauge) and the other is no longer used.

This looks like the harness you have but it is hooked up wrong because you have the wrong fuel pump assembly.
Investigating further, look in the trunk. On the left side, behind the spare tire well you will find the fuel pump control module. On the right side of the spare tire well you should find another fuel pump control module exactly like the one on the left. It is part of the Ford Racing kit and runs the second pump. This is what they look like.

The passenger side is indeed stock and there is no pump on that side, just a fuel level sending unit. The pump assembly on the driver side appears to be a no-name parts store special which always brings the possibility the sending unit was faulty from the start.
The drop in Walbro 400lph assembly is part number TU281-1. Alternately, you can aquire an OE driver side hanger and modify it to accommodate the Walbro pump (part # 90000262). You may not even need the boost-a-pump. I have this Walbro in my car running 9 psi of boost with a bit of headroom left over.
The wiring you have sitting on top of the floor and running down through the plastic access panel is all aftermarket and would have to go. That wiring may still be connected to a second fuel pump driver module in the trunk that would have to be removed as well.

Notice also there is a black relay mounted next to one of the FPCMs. It is also part of the kit and is intended to provide less voltage drop for the dual pumps. If these parts are still in place do a google search for a 2006 to 2009 GT 500 fuel pump kit. The kit was offered from Ford as an upgrade for the fuel system and is rock solid reliable. When I searched it turned up several how too pages, more than one Video and listings on eBay.

With that system being out of production, I think the only way you will get it is to buy the entire kit. The pumps are no big deal, it is the pump mount “HAT” that you need and the correct fuel level sending unit for a 05 GT.
I have no experience with the other fuel systems and boosters available so I can not help you with them. There are folks here, running different systems that I am sure can steer you in the right direction.

I ended but buying just the pump from a forum member , here it is, my only issue is that how do I install this pump into my tank, the stock pump came out easily but this one a little large , is there a specific way to insert this in?

Congratulations on finding the correct pump hat. I don’t see the fuel level float and sending unit attached. You will need that.
The easiest way to get the pump assembly into the tank and connected to the crossover tube is to loosen the straps that hold the tank in place. This will allow you to shift the tank and align the hole in the body with the hole in the tank. You shouldn’t have to completely remove the two bolts that attach the straps to body, just loosen them enough to get the wiggle room you need. The bolts are Torx, I forget what size.

thank you soooo much for helping me through this journey, I literally would not know what to do without your guidance !! Where do I find the fuel level float and sending unit part, can I take off the stock fuel pump I have I assume and does it wire into the two wires are not being used? Out of the 6 wires, 2 go into each fuel pump and then I have two left and go into the fuel sending unit I assume? Is the fuel sending unit the same for the 2005 ford mustang GT and the 2005 FOrd Mustang non GT? Is this the correct part number if you can confirm please.....7R3Z9A299C

I believe if you have a 2005 sending unit you can adapt it to the dual pump assembly and it will work correctly. Different year sending units have different resistance. I had to use the stock 2010 unit to get my fuel gage to work correctly. It did not just bolt right on. Yes, the two small wires are for the fuel gauge.
Do not be tempted to mess with the sending unit on the passenger side. You need it where it is.
