My brother was planning on selling his black Volk TE37 wheels this weekend but before he does I wanted to see if his wheels would work on my car(06 GT). They are coming off of an 07 Nissan 350z. I already tried putting the rears on and they bolted up fine, the problem is that i still have the stock suspension so the wheel sticks out more than it would once its slammed. Here is his set up:

19x9.5 (+22 offset) front
19x10.5 (+22 offset) rear

Im thinking it might just be too aggressive...Please help so I can figure this out before he sells them!!!!Thanks

why would u want to put volks, Japanese wheel company, on ur american mussel? i have an SI now with volks and on the civic forums, if u have volks ur like god because of the price of them. i dont think putting volks on a mustang is a good idea imo... but in the end its ur car. and i dont know much about the mustangs but i do know they are 5 by 114 lig pattern and a 22 offset is sick and will stick out past the fenders giving you a wider stance, which will look sick on a 350z and jap cars but i donno about a mustang... try and post pics...

The fronts and rears would be way out past the fenders. You'd need an offset around 50 to keep the rears tucked in.

Hate me too then:

Japanese 5Zigen on my American "Mussel" (Here in America we actually spell it "Muscle.")
Need to upgrade to 17x10s when I get the 4.6 in...

I purchased these "JDM" wheels for their weight, or function, over their form. For must of us Mustang "mussel" drivers that venture over this barrier of using japenese wheels, it's usually for the same reason. It's one thing to look "god-like" for the purchase of high-valued wheels versus actually being able to use the wheels (along with the car) to it's fullest extent.

Wheels are wheels. Who cares where they're made? As long as they look good on the car or serve their function to the maximum possible degree (ideally, wheels will achieve both properties), that's what counts it my book. 240s, RX-7, etc. have run Mustang bullitts or cobra wheels and look great too when done right.

Isn't the 2010 drift Mustang running white te37s or something like that? Either way they're cleary not "domestic" wheels...

I'm 95% sure they are te37, but I've lost the link. I was leaning in the direction of 18" te37s, but the cost on the Axis Circuits was hard to pass up.

Ok fool, you first of all know absolutley nothing. I suggest you do some homework before you start to bash people for rocking Volks. Volks dominate the Japanese market for a reason, and I can tell you its not becuase of there price point. Rays Engineering wheels are used on all sorts of professional series race cars due to there quality and light weight construction.

The problem with the majority of people who own mustangs is they ruin the community for the rest of us. Just because you own a mustang does not mean you have to be close minded or dumbed into thinking the mustang should only rock Saleen, Cobra, CCW etc wheels.

So formula one race cars must use Volks for there high price too huh? Mussel haha:ftard:

the competition car uses HRE wheels and the demo car that is pictured and in the links i posted a page back uses TE37s. 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear. both front and rear have the +22 offset.

The HRE wheels im not sure on size and offset.
