Won a Trophy

First car show ever and they had a free dyno. Got a trophy for strongest pull. Came out to 420 rwhp/447rwtq. It was 79* with 85% humidity. I don't have much faith on that dyno since JDM told me I "should" be around 520rwhp, but at least everyone was on an even playing field using the same one. Other people were also saying it was reading low. We'll see in September when I get out to the track again.

It was a great time nevertheless. My son (3) was driving around in his electric Mustang and everyone was getting a kick out of that.

Nah, I was too busy making sure the guy ran it in 4th, looking at the AFR and that he didn't over rev.

Congrats man! you should have dyno'd your sons stang after yours. monitor the voltage to happiness ratio. lol.

That is awesome! I love those type car shows!! its allot funner to watch the awesome cars that go to them run and see what they can make instead of sitting around getting sun burnt. I won one just like that last summer. I was in the lead for the day all day until a guy w/ a vortech stang pulled about 40hp over my pull. so i took my filter off, turned the boost controller up 2lbs and went back on the dyno and beat him by about 10 hp. he went back on but even said he knew he couldn't top it w/out a pulley change. the best part was that not only did i win the trophy they gave me a $500 cash prize to! It's an awesome feeling to walk away from a show as the HP Champion isn't it? lol
