Anybody have a Jon Lund Whipple tune?

Anybody have a Jon Lund Whipple tune? With long tube headers? Have it dyno'd? What numbers were you getting?

So jpac, you have a Jon Lund tune? How do you like it? I had a custom tune from a local dyno and he didn't have a clue how to tune these little 39lb injectors (lots of FP). So I grabbed a Lund tune, drivebility is so much better especially cold. Pulls hard.

Well I got the email tune from him. I told him what whipple, injectors, long tubes, and exhaust I had and sent me a tune the next day or so. Loaded it up and all good. My gas mileage is down, but probably where it should have been. It is a 91 tune, that I have bumped the timing 2 degrees and 5% more fuel up top for the 93 in my area.

Cool. Price if you dont mind? How long did it take him to get it to you? What tuner are you using? Sorry for all the questions. Im just trying to do all my home work before I tune this thing. Of course im waiting for some long tubes and mid pipe to come my way for a good price lol

Had a customer with a 2009 GT500 with a 2.9 Whipple and it was waaaaaaay lean. Good thing he didn't beat on it!
I don't think he gave him the chance to correct it though.

My point is ALWAYS get your car checked on a dyno or have a reliable wideband when buying canned tunes.

Jon Lund is the best tuner in the country for Mustangs IMO. With that being said, I had him dyno tune my car with the above mod list and the outcome was 480rwhp and 460rwtq on Evolution's MUSTANG dyno. The car ripped and was a monster when I was on that setup. Now I'm fully built with a 302 Stroker, TR6060 6 speed, and way more boost and let's just say it's twice as fast.. All tuned by Jon Lund

He sent me an email tune just to get down to the shop and he met me there and ran it on the dyno. He's one hell of a guy.

He isn't actually in one place. He goes around the country and tunes at all different shops. I personally go so him at Evolution Performance in Aston, PA. He tunes all there cars for them
