What have you guys been using to treat the textured black chins. I just got a new one and want it to stay lookin clean and new. I had one before and it faded a lot and really ruined the look of my car. Thanks!!

I had mine painted professionally but that after that one cracked. I got a new one and all I do is spray it with a 5 dollar matte black spray paint from walmart...If it ever gets any chips or scratches, I just clean it and spray that spot..Looks good and cheap

Spray engine detailer from any auto parts store works well, or any interior shine products like armor-all work nicely.

Lots of good suggestions here.

We're actually carrying Poorboy's Trim Restorer. It would be an excellent choice to give the chin that wet look you're looking for. The trim restorer is easy to use and can also be applied in the sunlight.

Check it out here : http://www.lethalperformance.com/ca...1343/poorboy-s-trim-restorer-16-fl-oz-p-37205

Give me a call at 877-2LETHAL and take advantage of the 15% discount I'm giving members. I'll be happy to answer any of your other questions as well.

I have mixed luck with Ultima on my Avalanche. Seems to work well on everywere else but it doesnt last as long as VTR. It does go on easier though. I like both the Adam's and the Chemical Guys version.

John @ Lethal do you guys have Ultima Tire & Trim Guard? It's a superior product.

We aren't stocking it at the moment. It definitely protects better, but I have had people tell me they like how the Poorboy's looks better. To each their own.

I'm sold on the Ultima as well. I can't imagine how someone would think Poorboy's looks better.

Ultima is to trim as Wet Diamond is to Sealants

You guys carrying Wet Diamond yet?

I used Poorboy's Trim Restorer on my fiance's wiper cowl and applied UTTG on mine. Mine looks perfect just like brand new with a nice sheen. The Poorboy's is completely gone, kind of surprised by how long it lasted. It had more gloss but it was a pain to buff to a even appearance.

I put Ultima on the front lower trim and side trim of my WK and it's still looking like brand new after a month. I think the PTR looks too fake looking or something. And as you say, it don't last for shit.
