I did a factory HID headlight swap on my car. As mentioned I swapped the harness and added diodes. I would think that tr harnesss is the same as the late models. Search for silver horse racing HID retrofit kit

Its more expensive to make them work rather than buying a good aftermarket kit that will work better and have cheaper parts to replace in the long run. ive seen people put over 600+ in something like this and still have issues.

If the headlights were free your probably still looking at 250-300+

Just trying to help you out. If you get them to work cheap let me know.

I installed factory HID's in my 05 as well. It wasn't that bad. Replace one harness from the fuse box to the headlights/foglights....moved one pin in the harness I believe and install the two diodes that are available from Radio Shack.

Here's my thread when I did it along with a link to the SHR instructions in the fist post.

Hahahha that has got to be a joke??? Please show me where people have spent $600+ to get it to work with no issues? He really doesn't even have to buy the ford harness one eye willy wired his up his own making his own harness with relays. There is not a aftermarket kit that will work better than a FACTORY HID set up with projectors sorry to burst your bubble. Caleb all it is is some wiring and maybe a couple relays i would shoot willy a PM see if he can help you.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the 4 wires on the HID harness is...
- ground, 12v, 12v solenoid (hi-beam), and either COM>(SJB) or additional 12v...
Halogen harness:
- ground, 12v low, 12v high

Try to find the pinout for each connector, then make or buy a harness that connects directly to your battery and splice into each connector wire accordingly... Or just splice directly into the car and hope nothing blows up or melts.

It's just tedious work that I tried to undertake once but ended up retrofitting cause it was cheaper (for me).

mMm.. Let me know if you have any questions...

I don't have the time or money to do any retros for people; too high of a liability... Maybe after SEMA...
