1st of all Id like to say a Big Thank you , too Scott Boda , Chad , Gus and of course Dario, and the rest of the guys at Steeda for getting my car ready early Saturday Morning.
I had spoken to Scott and let him know Thursday night I was not going to be able to make it since my antiroll bar had not come in yet . I was the one to blame b/c I waited to long to order it since Ive been busy as hell.
Scott tells me to just load my car on the trailer, and we will take care of you when you get here.
These guys are top notch, the Steeda Facility is State of the Art. Words cannot explain what this location is like . Scott called and said dont worry Pete , we will take care of you 1st thing in the morning before we do the Tour for everyone .
Once at Steeda at 7:00 am Chad and Scott replaced my broken antiroll bar with a slightly new designed one .
He took me on a small tour of the place, and its like a Hospital for cars , Ive never seen such a clean and spotless welding area. The CNC Bending machine is incredible . The 2011 Mustang Cold Air Intake Kits are a work of art. I was extremely Impressed .
When they finished with my car we took it off the lift and I pulled around the building. I was shocked. There must have been like 50 Camaro's parked side by side and across each other . Ive never seen so many of them in one place, not even at a Dealer .
When it was time to leave the Sheriffs Dept lined everyone up and we took of to the Track.
I was with my friend Rene in his Harley Davidson F250 and Featherlite enclosed trailer following at least 80 Camaro's to the track . The Police Escort was absolutely the BEST . It must have been at least 30 miles to the track thru these beautiful country roads and small little towns . We had two Sheriffs running in front and behind the trailer traveling around 70 mph thru these back roads to try and catch up with the line of cars . There must have been at least 6 Sheriffs cars not to mention some of the Local area departments which were also blocking off the streets . They did an amazing job . We were laughing in the truck because we felt like The President or something blowing thru all the red lights and people pulling off the road for us it was Great.

Here are a couple of pics from my phone , I really didnt have much time for pics .
As far as my car goes it ran real hard , would have gone faster but I kept blowing off a intercooler pipe so I turned down the boost . Best pass was a 9.87 with a 1.43 60 ft at 23.0 psi's went 6.329 @ 106.39 in the 1/8th . I had a really good pass with the boost up at 25 psi's went a 1.40 60ft a 6.229 @ 107.31 in the 1/8th and then the coupler blew off the pipe. I coasted to a 10.51 @ 102.

Here's a time slip .

This was a True Street Car event. I made the quick 8, and ended up in 4th I think overall .
I was the only True Street Car in the quick 8 , all the cars were real race cars. It was fun to see people walking around looking at my car and asking Me all types of questions. Most were really shocked when I told them it has stock heads and cams and I drive it almost everyday for work.
It was very hard to leave on the Pro Tree for Me . I tried with the 2 step, but since I would get on the brake before the other car I would hit the 2 step and sit on it a little too long, and build too much boost and blew the tires on both passes. Never got a good 60ft.
I learned something new, which is to change some of the piping or v band all the tubing, and put solid motor mounts , and to get a AMS 1000 so I can leave the line with only the boost I need regardless of how long I sit on the TB.

Thanks Again to Steeda and Scott Boda . I will be back and ready to go faster next time gonna show those Race Cars what a Street Car can do. LOL

Man that place looks awesome. If I lived in Florida, Id be applying for a job there. No shop around here looks anything close to that.

I just got the AMS 500 and waiting on the CO2 to install. Then we can put a 4psi spring in it and leave at a certain boost and ramp it up. The AMS 1000 is bad ass, the 500 will fit me good. It allows you to launch at a certain stage and ramp it up any amount a boost to any amount of seconds.

I never really had the problem with piping blowing off except once. Those vibrant braces are good for that issue.

Thats there facility in Valdosta ,GA . I drove up 9 hours from Miami the day before the event .
I never had problems either, but now Im turning the boost up, and I think after 3 years the silicon coupler is slippery because of oil residue .
If I make the pipes a little longer so there's more of it in the coupler I think it will be fine because it wont allow them to flex and bend as much under boost. Id rather just make all the plumbing 3" with v-bands and put solid motor mounts.

Who sells the solid motor mounts? They might be pretty noisy in the car with engine vibration.

I dont know Im going to be doing a little research on what my options are . I might just put longer silicon couplers with 2 t bolts on each side.

Sounded like an awesome time. Great mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4, 34 mph is pretty stout. You still at full weight I am assuming?

Yeup full interior , two Amplifiers, Sound system less rear sub because it would hit the back of the trunk on take off.
I think it will go quicker if I tighten the converter like 200 rpm and run a 3.55 gear . Thats going to be the next mods before I go with the new heads , cams, and GTX Turbo.
