My thoughts exactly. In that case, why isn't Burcham #1 and Sutton right up there as well?

I don't think the list should include any non members of S197 forums.

I would have to agree with Don on this too.

I don't care if you have your car built by a tuner, but you should be a member of this club (forum) and driving your own car!

I see where everyone is coming from----and said as much on the 3v ET list thread on Mod Fords---that basically the list was not all inclusive of the 3V community, just a recap of whatever is posted in the ET thread on this board.

So, going forward, if the car owner logs on---and posts a timeslip/or video of their run, then I am going to add to the list. So if Paul who owns the Sterling car posts up--I will add it.

Once again I am just working with the info I had. I thought that the Sterling car was a JDM car, as the blue car. I do know that JIMIII does in fact own the yellow n/a car--so that will be updated to the 11.15 as the fastest n/a car. But using this logic, then I guess I should have never added JDM's blue car to the list---since they are not the car owners?

I for one would love to see the big boys log on here and post up---and then we would truly have a "who is fastest" list.

But as I said on Mod Fords, the car has to be a 05+ s197, that is 3V powered. Thats it. I don't care if its streetable or not, as that debate is too subjective anyway. One might say its a street car if you can make it 2 miles down the road to a Burger King. Another might say its not a street car until you can drive to Vegas from Los Angeles. Too subjective so I won't even be concerned with the street/race thing.

Ok, I will change that. By the way, anyone noticing any other mistakes, please PM me as I want this list accurate.

I think it would also be nice to see the size of the power adders included. We already have a couple listed on there, so let's expand it. You can put me down as a 2.4L Kenne Bell.

ok guys I'm starting to get a handle on this car FINALLY... still has alot left in it but feeling better about spending all this money on the Whipple.

For the record I'm running M/T ET streets, 3650 manual trans. and I'm car 101. New personal best 60' last night and new personal best 1/8 mile.
Still getting the car dialed in so every trip the last 3 weeks has been getting better. I'm hoping to hit the 1/4 track in a couple weeks.

Yes - without a doubt, the owner or driver of the vehicle should have to be a member here for his time(s) to be listed.

Thanks Don;

In a sick and twisted way knowing there is more; make me feel even better. Now I just have to upgrade and do the driver mod :)

It actually felt good leaving, but, I prolly dont know what a "good" launch is...If I can launch at a higher rpm, then maybe I can hit the traps closer to my peak Hp and peak boost, but I dont know..I only made 2 passes and I didnt pay attention to my rpm's or boost(especially after watching some dood smack the wall very hard...My car is heavy and I had street tires.60 ft's were a 2.11 and a 2.09

r/t-------.42
60ft------2.09
330------5.54
1/8th----8.38
1/8mph--85.50
1000ft---10.7
1/4------12.94
mph------109.01

Yeah I can see your problem right now.

A 2.0X 60' just doesn't cut it (however thats not too bad for street tires)

Get some drag radial tires and get that 60' down. On my timeslip database, when I was running 109 mph in the 1/4, my ets were 12.0X's and 12.1X's, and on those runs my 60' was in the low 1.6X area. So I have no doubt your car has a 12.1X in it.

That would definitely help. And these are lockup converters so don't fear stall speed. Go with 3000. I have a 3300 and it still drives great on the street, and my work is 80 miles away (one way). I have 73K miles on my car and would recommend a converter as one of the first mods (along with tires) if you have an auto.
