Also , the "screech" sound I was hearing is not the PS pulley making contact, but is the mandrel spinning in the bearing of the crank support I designed and IW built for me .

Does anyone have any experience with the Procharger fac. crank supports?

If so does the bearing have to be pressed on the mandrel or is it just a slip fit?

This was incorrect. the mandrel checked out fine and the noise is gone with the main drive belt off, so the noise is one of the pulley bearings. I just have to figure out which one at this point.

Lito is a tuning BEAST

That is the reason he will be doing my new tune!

I have been back and forth with my current guy and I get DCT after DCT along with linp mode. Two emails to Lito in a day and a half (over a holiday) and I have a running car with no DCTs after running up to temp and then some!!!

It ran before but not for long is why I never posted a video. It runs and idles well now and NO CODES!

I will start the driving and data logging next weekend. I have a Dynojet dyno local to me (5min.) that can dyno the car as needed. These guys don't know much about the s197 cars other then slight mods but can dyno it after I get the tuning done .

I still need to figure out why the Baumannator TCS is not reading my range sensor as it should , but I should be moving the car out of the garage on its own power next weekend.

It was nice to see it off the jack stand today for the first time in over 2 yrs.

As you will see I still have a couple of interior pcs to install and I am still trying to decide what I want to do with the radiator cover. The wirs hanging down on the pass side are to the wires for the MSD DIS4 setup that is at MSD being tested and repaired. I should have it back this week. I will post video of the car running next weekend after I can get it outside.

Here are a few pics.

Thanks! It should polish up nice. It is still very dirty and doesn't have any Armoral or anything. I also still have to color sand the car and buff it out.

Looks good buy my .02, you should turn your clamps on your intake upside down...Everything looks so smooth and nice, and then it breaks up right there.

I was having a screeching sound with my procharger setup as well. I was not running the same trim as you, but when I traced it back it was my belt tensioner. I don't see this being an issue with your setup, but I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring.

Wow.... Super clean engine bay! Love it!

Where are all the wires???? Damn.

They are all under the intake.

Good eye, I agree. I will try that this weekend.

That engine bay is fucking beautiful!!!

Thanks.

I think it was one of the pulley bearings. It has since stopped.

That engine bay looks fantastic, unreal job on the wire tuck. It's hard to tell from those interior pics but I don't see a roll bar in there. I know you were planning on one have you just not installed it yet?

I have a 5 point in there now with a removable drivers door bar. That should be good enough for the street tune at the track. I will convert to a cage after I am done tuning and make some passes and am ready to run the race tune. Its been awhile since I have been down the track and will have to get used to this power again. Last thing me or the guy in the other lane wants is for me to try a 9sec pass after not being on the car for so long.

Car is coming along. It moved from the garage on its own power for the first time in 2.5 yrs!

Lito and I have sent a couple data logs and tune files back and fourth and he has the car idling and working well on the start up. I will start the road pulls this weekend. I feel with all the stuff I deleted that this has gone very smoothly so far. Not to say I have not found a few glitches in my work or anything! LOL

This weekend I will need to pull the blower and the crank support to access the idler pulley with the bad bearing though. It is the ribbed idler that is causing the squealing noise on start up.

Here are a few pics . If I can figure out how to embed Photoshop videos I will post a vid.
