The Gt500 in stock form has to be amazing as is
i guess i'm numb to 550 hp.
I drove a ctsv a couple weeks ago, and it felt good, but didn't "blow me away"
we just took in an 11 gt500 in trade, and i drove it to the dealership owners house, on the way back, i punched it getting on the highway, and just like the caddy, i was like,

i know what you mean, i'm wanting to add another ride to the stable. maybe a boss, or a shelby, looking hard at the ctsv as well

I don't see any value in a cai unless going over 14-15psi at the moment. Unless thats wrong someone chime in.
I think right now, its going to be a 2.59, offroad exhaust, and the FRPP resonator/intake delete.

Possibly a blower port too, but thats money that can go into a whipple 2.9.
What does it take to move these into the 10s?
I agree that an intake, above the resonator delete, is not needed at the boost level you will be looking at with the 2.6 pulley. The factory CAI is really nice. A pulley, intake, tune, and exhaust netted me 554 rwhp 540rwtq. Above that all you need is a good tire and I'd also suggest LCA relocation brackets. That will put you into the 10's I believe if you are a good drive. IIRC the stock 2011 went low 11's like 11.2 11.1 or so with DRs.

I disagree. You want the LCA to be in a downward angle from body to axle housing. Ford sends them out with the LCA level to slightly up. This is better for ride quality but causes the dreaded wheel hop. The body will actually lift over the axle and bounce on the springs under torque. Dropping the LCA allows the weight of the body to actually drive the rearend housing down. This becomes even more important with DRs and slicks. I've followed your treads here and on SVTP. I am by no means trying to school you on the use of LCA relocation brackets, your in the business of go fast goodies. But in my opinion they are useful in the stock aplication as well. With the amount of torque these things make along with a 9.5" wide tire, we need all the support we can to plant this thing's ass.
