Keith what size tires???

Hey Jewc75, loving the Kona.
fronts are 255/40/19
rears are 285/35/19

Just an FYI for anyone who looks at it and says "why the 35 on the rear and 40 on the front", the difference in diameter is 26.9 overall diameter to 27 overall diameter. Plus, I think this is the stock OE sizes on the 2012 CTS-V.

Thanks Keith. Your tires are the same size as the boss laguna seca. Kinda what I was hoping for. Car looks great.

Dreadnought coilovers?

No, these are actually the 500 series due to my budget.

They do have the more expensive, KW equivalent, Dreadnought's as well. Everything is custom order to your specifications.

holy moly those look like some shoooort struts. you'll probably be able to get a really low ride height out of those.

this is all the way down in the back and maybe 3/4" of thread left on the fronts on kw clubsports. new (softer) springs are coming soon, which should/could lower it .5" more in the back. kw's are definitely not meant to be the "slam my car" choice.

Don't do it man! You're still dead stock, right?

You really ready to open pandora's box?

Yes, still. And wheels (like everything else) are still a long way off. But, almost as soon as I got the car I knew 19s are what I wanted. I cant justify the added mass and inertia of a 20 and 18s just dont fill up the well (even dropped) to the degree I want.

I plan on lowering mine about another half inch to an inch. I have a pretty conservative set up right now.

Got some Brembo wheels wrapped in 85% Michillen Pilot Sport AS Plus's if you want them. Paid $1,600 for just the tires.

I have four 1/4" spacers sitting on the floor next to me waiting to move the wheels out just a tad to near flush mounts and to address the front centers not snapping in due to interference with the dust cap. Should pop in fine once the spacers are on.

As it sits... 19x9 w/ 45mm offset all four corners. Tires are 275/40R19 Pirelli P-Zero Nero (OE Jag tire). I choose them for four wheel rotating capability and long tread life.
