Just installed my Bmr k-member, a-arms, front rad support and koni yellows and ran a 12.9 3rd time i have ever run the car. my 60ft was a 2.1 =/ need to get some dr's

i suggest skipping the drag radials and go straight to the bias ply et streets instead. i think most people with a manual transmission would agree it's a lot easier to get good/consistent 60' times with the bias ply tires instead of the drag radials. i never got better than a 1.82 with drag radials. with the bias ply et streets i get 1.6's consistently with similar mods to yours.

Do you run street tires up front? thinking of just going for the et streets next time around but no plans for front skinnies, I've heard a few people mention they are OK with that on the track. (and actually seen a few guys running)

i'm not sure who you're asking...but i run a set of custom built skinnies up front. you can remove a lot of weight with skinnies, k member, rad support and no sway bar

also for the street i just tighten the d specs up in front and i don't even notice the lack of sway bar

I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge lol but can you suggest a tire or share a link I am very new to drag racing I have only made 4 passes at the track an those passes are within the last two weeks. I know I really need some seat time but I just thought a good set of tires would help. My fist pass was a 13.8 second was 13.1 third was a 13.085 and fourth was a 12.95 spinning in first and second gear.

as far as back tires are concerned, if you can pick up a pair of 17" rims cheap, you can put the 26x11x17 et street bias ply tires on there. i bought mine used for $200. post and ad in the wtb section for them. i personally would stay away from drag radials on a stick car. i've found the bias ply tires to be easier to launch on and much more forgiving than the drag radials...and much more consistent....and much better 60' times.

if you're interested in fronts and backs together and have the coin, if i were doing it over again, i'd go for a 15" jeg star set up.

Might some of you guys at least pretend to look at the title of this thread and move the off topic discussions elsewhere? Thank you.

Don't think I have posted my time in here. 2012 auto with roush tvs, offroad x-pipe, 265/40/18 drag radials on stock rims. Stock suspension. 6940 DA, not sure how much pressure I was running, considering elevation and belt slipping on the 69mm pulley it is hard to judge:

you need a backup run within 2% to be included.

also more details on the set up -

2) The following vehicle information:
- Cubic inch displacement (CID) of engine
- Type of transmission (by model number)
- Size and Manufacturer of power adder, or N/A
- Pounds of Boost, of N2O shot (or both if applicable)
- Rear Gear ratio
- Make and type of tire
3) your time also has to be backed up by another time within 2%.

I only got one one run before being booted for no bar. Will hopefully be back out in a few months with the bar and better times for the back up run:

2) The following vehicle information:
- Cubic inch displacement (CID) of engine - 302
- Type of transmission (by model number) - 6r80
- Size and Manufacturer of power adder, or N/A - Roush 2.3 TVS 69mm pulley
- Pounds of Boost - Read 11 sustained on dyno runs, wasn't measured during the run, belt was slipping.
- Rear Gear ratio - 3.15
- Make and type of tire - Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial

Well screw taking a pic of the 12.29 passes. Here's my latest passes. Major changes is just going to a full slick. Mt 26x8.0x15. This was on a zex 125 shot.

I'm car #5 and as you can tell from the mph bottle pressure was dropping. During the 11.84 pass it was at 850.
