Mike I'm working with the dealer I bought the car from in Houston.
It sucks when the dealer is limited on what they are allowed to do by the big company. How have they been though as far as keeping in touch and actually seeming concerned?

It runs ok. I will be datalogging the stock tune soon. I want to see what the pcm is seeing.

Drive that thing to Park Citys Ford in Dallas. They have already replaced 2 5.0s from the #8 issues on 100% stock cars. Pm me if you need a contact there.

I havent, I've been out of town for work and the car has been sitting. I wish I could have gotten a video of the startup after sitting for a week. It was not pretty. The car will be sitting this week too.
It's worse after sitting?

Wouldn't that point to bad valve seals?

Would seem so, some of the 04 mach 1's had that problem. Guy local to me had a mach 1 and one valve seal went bad after 20k miles and the thing smoked to high hell.

Looks like the Gt500 pcv is working. I didn't have smoke yesterday or today. Im praying this takes care of the problem.

It very well may be "just" bad valve guide seals as a few suspected!! (or excessive blowby that FORD considers normal)

Any pics of the setup on your car? I may do this on mine.

The only visible difference is the gt500 one has a heater. You have to cut the connector off so that it fits in the coil cover. Other than that i dont have a clue what the difference is.

well.. its very complicated but I will try to explain.. please look at the special gt500 PVC integrated system diagram below.

as you see the thrust vector of the pivot system enters the header outlet thus allowing the systematic flow of oil. On top is a special abrasive fluid collector that adsorbs any leaks the pvc stem may have, thus preventing any loss of fluid in the system. :popcorneat:
