Well when the car was stock i would jack the front end from the Radiator support. I know it wasnt the best spot but it worked and never had a problem. Now with the BMR Kmember in there as well as the Steeda Swaybar delete where can i jack the front end from? Im trying to find a spot where i can get both front wheels off the ground at once. I dont think the steeda piece or the K member are good choices haha

not exactly what i was looking for Doc. But i guess it answers the question that the correct way is to use both side points and not anything from the front end

There isn't really any "good place" to do it and bring both wheels up at once. Which brings up the question.. why do you need to do it so that it brings both up at once? Just curious.

laziness? makes it easier to do a lot of the work up front on the car. Also since the car is lowered if i jack one side i cant get the jack under the other side.

The rear is easy. I can lift from the rear housing as its a 9", no covers to warp or break

I guess if you really had faith in your motor and your motor mounts you could put a block on the jack and lift it from the crank. I wouldn't... but I guess you could.

I always do it from the stock K member middle hump?

I know you have BMR K now, so I doubt that will help you.

I took a 2x4 and "V'd" it out and partially drilled out a recess for the 2 bolt heads for the BMR K-member. It spreads the load accross the K-member cross tube, doesn't slip off and works fine.

That is what I have done ever since the BMR K went in. One side at a time, right under the frame rail. If I need the whole front end up, I put a jackstand on one side, then move to the other. But since you apparently can't do that because you are lowered, you could always drive up onto a couple 2x4s first to get the car up an extra 1-1/2" to start with.

I took a 2x4 and "V'd" it out and partially drilled out a recess for the 2 bolt heads for the BMR K-member. It spreads the load accross the K-member cross tube, doesn't slip off and works fine.
I have considered doing something similar to that as well, but my chin spoiler is really the interference point coming in from the front.

BTW, do you just lay the 2x4 loose on top of the jack? Or do you attach it to the cross tube somehow?

Yes, the CDC classic. But it is lower in the middle, where the stock fascia is a little higher.

I have to ask you guys that are lifting the front of the car by the k-member - what kind of jack are you using? I've got several floor jacks and I can't get enough travel on the handle when it's that far under the car with any of them.
