Looking for more qualified opinions on front end alignment than mine. 2005 Mustang gt, BMR k member and adjustable control arms, Viking struts, UPR Caster/Camber plates and drag skinnes. Had to slot the strut towers to get a bit more caster and have no adjustment left in the camber plates. I CAN adjust the rod end but BMR said that adjustment is for aligning the control arms to eliminate bind. So here are my specs:

Right Side: Caster. 6.75
Camber - 1.5

Left Side. Caster 6.5
Camber. - 1.25

My specs are within tolerances but at the limit on the Right Side Camber.

Should I keep fiddling with it or call it good?

Thanks everyone

I would focus on getting equal side by side values.

Nice equipment. How do you do it? Measure a value, lift the wheel to correct, lower it and measure again?

Equal out the caster or the car will drift.

I actually like a little bit of extra camber. I think I ran 2* and 2.2* up front and it felt like it was a little more responsive on initial turn in. No extra tire wear but I swap my wheels from side to side every year or so. Keep in mind my car is not set up like most. No front sway bar and super stiff rear bar, mis matched springs, etc. and she basically handles like a pig. Maybe that's why I felt a difference with the extra camber. Your set up might not respond the same as mine.

I first leveled my car with 2” of wood in the rear (turn plates are 2” also) then jacked up the front and set them on the turn plates. I found this is not the right way even though instructions say you can. But doing so yielded numbers WAY out of specs… so I then set 2” of wood behind the turn plates and pushed the car onto the turn plates eliminating flexing the turn plates. This gave me way more accurate reading numbers.

I had already slotted my strut towers to give me some caster adjustment. While I have caster camber plates, they only allow a minute amount of caster adjustment… Mostly just camber. My control alarms have brought in as stated previously, and I may tweak them just a tad, but BMR says to adjust them for no blind when you put them on the car not necessarily for alignment. The back end that bolts up to the K member has some adjustment in it left and right.

My car is set up to be a street strip car… I also have no front sway bar. When I installed the tube front end, there are no provisions for a sway bar. I eliminated my power steering in lieu of a flaming river rack, and pinion… The drag skinnies will help with that a bunch.

If you need more caster, some alignment shops shift the cradle slightly.

After I put in GT500 control arms, new Koni struts etc, the alignment shop I went to shifted the cradle to get caster in spec

In my opinion .. a camber up to 1.0 is ok .. more than 1.0 will „ eat „ tires on the long run

Gasoline is still less than 1 Euro / Liter - here in Brasil
No movement in fuel prices here ..

$9!? Good Lord.

I paid like $2.89 the other day for the cheap stuff and bitched about it to myself even though it only costs me $17-19 to FILL the Mirage.
9.65$ yesterday

Biden blew up Nordstream, tripled my heating gas bill, now this. And to both my own Government cheered to it because it speeds up their green transition craziness. I'm so sick of ALL politicians. Endless stream of lies.
Sorry for my rant....
