So I'm getting ready to install my Roush tvs and as I was cutting the Bosses off I cut into the timing cover. Can it be sealed or I'm I fucked???!!!
And before anyone calls me a dumbass I'm already beating myself up about it.

Get a 2012 timing cover and grind it off the car then install. No telling how many shavings just went into the engine. I wouldn't reuse that.

Just drain the oil man. Pull the cover repair it. Clean it. Reinstall it.

Sent from my phone. I'm driving

Get some brake cleaner and shop towels. A few cans should do and clean before you change the oil. Once done with the install, change the oil.

thought I'd read some where the newer covers don't have the bosses? (no grinding)
No ribs on the timing covers that went on the 5.0 Mustangs after 4/15/11 they still have 3 bosses that need to be cut and ground for (roots / twin screw) SC installation.

From the picture, it looks like you have the boss cut at the wrong angle. Unless the pic is sideways.
