Yea, has me thinking about dropping the coin on those items for my car. Are the tail lights illuminated or is it just the lighting? Can't really tell how "dark" they are from the pics.

Yeah, they're illuminated. The lighting is kind of weird in that pic, though. They're pretty dark when turned off.

Vince I hope you're not pissed when the rear end of my car looks the exact same as yours!

What a difference those taillights and blackout pannel make....I like the stock headlights but those just look fantastic...that's what the 2013 lights should look like.

Have at it. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. :beerchug2:

Also, is it weird that I consider these new taillights to look more OEM than the originals? I didn't realize how much I hated the originals until I bolted these new ones on.

Both the blackout panel and the lights are available from AM.

Yeah I notice the same thing, I wouldn't say I hate the originals, but I like the fact that they were designed so right that they look like they could have come with the car

I love the new 2013 tail lights. Too bad you need both the lights and bumper for them to fit correct. If you install just the tail lights with he 2010-2012 bumper, there will be a gap under the tail light.

American Muscle just got these in, and I ordered some immediately. They come in smoked and standard. Here the smoked ones are installed on my car:

I'm surprised how much better I like them. Raxiom actually calls them "05-09 Style." I feel it looks more "Mustang-like," if that makes any sense at all.

Looks great! However, little confused on the "Sport Compact Car" license plate frame. LOL

I write articles for MotoIQ, which is an online magazine by a lot of the old SCC guys. I told Mike Kojima this plate was staying on my car until I get a MotoIQ one.
:roflmao:

SCC was my favorite magazine in highschool

Ah makes much more sense now! I figured there had to be a backstory to that.

Is anyone working on a '13 style tail light for the '10-12 cars? I've got a white car so that 1" gap just isn't going to work... maybe it would be okay on a black car.

I think the backup lights on those Raxiom jobs look a little too sci-fi for my taste. Not bad, but not what I'm looking for either.
