One question: Why would someone want two dyno pulls? :whistling:

No, strings. I believe they are selling the dyno and software. Jame, the guy who runs the dyno, wants to dedicate more time fixing up his mustang for racing.

To compare tunes would be my best answer. For the hell of it, I dynoed my car there because I was curious to see the difference in Bamachips 87 tune, 91 tq tune and 91 race tune. I also wanted to see how it compared with the canned 87 tune.
I believe each additional pull is $10.

Have you compared them on the track yet?

I have compared the race and tq tune back to back on two separate occacisions, and yes, I know that the track is the real proving ground, but I was curious to see how Doug's tunes stacked against the canned tune

Come on Don, get your car dynoned. There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers. :thumb:
LOL... it was dynoed by Adam... when he tuned it. Other than that, I couldn't care less. It's all about timeslips to me. Gonna see what we can do at the Q tomorrow.

But, save me a free burger. haha

Not going to the Q, but I plan on going to Barona on Saturday.
After thinking it through a lot last night, we decided to skip Barona this week. First, it's awful damn early in the morning (gates open at 6am, so we'd have to leave home at 5am). Second, it's probably going to be packed, so pit space may be hard to get, and with the big gambler bracket happening, I'm not sure how many runs we'd get. Plus, it's supposed to be about 85 degrees, which isn't as cool as I'd like to see it for a daytime race.

Qualcom sucks as far as prep.
That is generally true... but it's more the surface than the prep. It's a freakin' parking lot for gawds sake. LOL The left track is much better than the right track (which re-opens again tomorrow night... meaning shorter waits in the staging lanes).

But, even with the poor surface and all, we made some decent runs there 2 weeks ago. My best was a 6.798 at 102.98, with a 1.581 60-ft time. Had a couple 1.59 60-ft times also.

I started the same thread over at socalstangs.com and now it has become a :piss: contest. I didn't know that a few people had a problem with their dyno and tuner.
