Hey guys,
When I woke up this morning the DA was -2800'

I went back today but I was running a little late so I only got there at noon.

I ran an an 11.264 @ 125.319 in the opposite lane.
The DA was -1185' but my 2-3 shift was a little sloppy.

60' 1.603
1/8 7.252 @ 100.076
1/4 11.264 @ 125.319

I ran consistent 11.3x during the rest of the day even hot lapping the car.

Good call on the 1/8th time yesterday John.
There's no way i was running 106mph in the 1/8th.
All of todays runs were 99-100mph in the 1/8th

I'm new to this forum. I was posting on another forum and Don suggested I post my time slips here. I was left lane both times.

Car is a 2007 GT with a 5.4 cobra motor and 2.8 KB. She's got a lot more in her, I just was way rusty. We just got the motor installed after the cage on Thursday and we drove it up to FFW and entered a class just to see what it would do. It still needs some work but I was pretty happy with it!

Thanks Don!

Welcome to the forum!! Helluva run! Glad you made it over here.

Can you provide additional info for the list? We try to keep track of: CID, trans, type of F/I or N/A, tire, lbs of boost, gear ratio.

Sure thing Don. The car ran the best time with the following:

07 GT

331CI, 4 valve GT500 heads with comp cams
Turbo 400 trans
3.55 gears
Kenne Bell 2.8h Mammoth at 24lbs boost
28 tall true 10.5 MT slicks

Car will eventually be sprayed but we just got it back together last Thursday and still have some work to do.

Here's a vid of my best run. I was a tad rusty since I hadn't driven her in 2 months!

HaHa yeah! I filled out my tech card with such bad writting they couldn't even read my name! The announcer said "We don't know who he is or where he's from". I guess the 007 number kind of fit after I think about it!

Welcome to the forum!!

Just so you know, here are the guidlines for your time to be added to the list:

1) timeslip--if you don't have it, unless you have video, forget it. If you only have video, please provide the 60', 1/8-mi and 1000' incrementals
2) CID, trans, type of F/I or N/A, tire, lbs of boost, gear ratio
3) your time also has to be backed up by another time within 2%.

Welcome to the forum. Several of us were at FFW as well. I saw your car and wondered who's it was. Nice color by the way! I had my Vista blue one down there too. Those are some impressive times as well.

Which class were you in?

Thx,

Mike

I entered in Ultra Stang because we new a couple people running it and we new SD and Paul were capable of some good times. Really isn't set up for that class at all.

We were really just testing the car on what we new would be a good track. We just got it put together Thursday and we're still breaking it in. We'll turn it up then we'll spray it. She's got a lot more in her!
