I'm about to leave for 9 months and will store my car in the garage. As such I want to put her up on jack stands to avoid issues with tires, etc.

Where do you all place jack stands when storing the car? Ive seen threads on jack points, are those the best locations?

Thanks

Jesse

The pinch welds on the frame rails are the Ford recommended locations. There will be cutouts on your side skirts at the appropriate spots, just behind the front wheels and just in front of the rear wheels.

I want it to be stable, as crazy as it sounds I don't want to worry about it collapsing on my wife or kid if they are in the garage

Thanks a ton for the pics. So is it no big deal to have the suspension without weight on it?

I'd just keep it on the floor, better to be safe than sorry. The most that could happen is flat tires, maybe your wife can have someone put air in them when they go flat? Thanks for serving!

Like Ultranever drives I out the rear ones on the axle tubes and the front where the Kmember bolts to the body.

Thanks, I think I got this taken care of. Man I almost shit purple twinkies when I went to jack the last point of the car and it started wobbling... that was a pucker moment. I have bumped, pushed and shoved the car to no avail, I doubt my 40lb toddler will dislodge it.

Hopefully my ride height will be the same when I return, with the car sitting like this it looks like one of those dang Donks or Bubble cars...

It'll be fine, it make have to settle a little once the weight is back on it. I use 3-4" long strips cut off the end of some 2" wide ratchet straps to put on top of my stands. Usually 2 on each stand.

I can't remember wear I saw it. But I think race ramps has anti-flat spot ramps. Has a cradle for the tire to sit in.

Also. I would recommend drier sheets in the car (on a piece of plastic to protect the carpet) to keep the critters out.

Thank you for your service.
