Nitrous question

Yes i searched, maybe im just retared but now i has to ask.....i have a 2006 gt, i wanna run nitrous now..looking to see how much saftly can this 3v hold since it is my DD? also pictures of some setups would be nice too...thankyou guys

First off you need to ask yourself how much use this kit is going to see.

To be safe with it; I would stay in the 100-125 range.

Which kit ? I ran a 100 shot for 2 years then upped to a 125 shot with my zex kit. The 125 shot was through a FRPP manifold though. Stock pump will be fine, just make sure to pull enough timing and run good gas. You will need a window switch to run that much as well.

i plan on running 100 shot....kit will be used maybe 1 night a week, if that. I will have the car tuned for the spray of course.

So would a 100 shot be safe on stock fuel system and manifold?

i run a 100 shot thru my 3v, i go thru a bottle or two a week. make sure you get good plugs and good gas.

awesome!!! thankyou guys so much for the quick responses and info.....any pictures of nitrous setups by chance?? also what kind of numbers can i expect? as my car sits im JLT intake, OR x pipe and axle back mufflers as well as CMDP plates with a BAMA handheld.

Zex 100 shot with purge, Warmer, window switch. It made 388whp and 444tq on a mustang dyno. Running through NGk Iridiums and stock manifold. Ran the same shot before on stock fuel pump.

how exactly does the nano work, im on their website now but im not really understanding the concept?

The compressed air forces your bottle pressure to stay high and constant, if the bottle pressure drops you will lose hp and eventually it wont spray anymore even if there is some left in the bottle, this is what bottle heaters also do but you have to wait till it heats up the bottle and its not as effective. There is someone selling a new NANO system in the classifieds.

Now with the NANO there is a different method to jet the fuel and the nitrous, they give you the pdf and the instructions so make sure you show that to tuner if he doesn't know about the system.
