Like new, never used only bolted up to supercharger for fitment. Ending up going with a Ford Racing twin 65mm Cobra Jet throttle body because the customer liked the look of it better. These retail for $569-599, Looking to get $400 shipped! Great deal for this throttle body, for info on how to Purchase PM me here or email [email protected]

Whipple 2011-2012 GT500 "Big Bore" Mono Blade Throttle Body (Black)

If you thought the original monoblade throttle body from Whipple was big wait till you see the Super monoblade setup. It's not only larger than the regular monoblade but flows about 10% more.. By installing this you'll remove any restriction the stock throttle body creates on stock and built cars. You'll really see the benefits of this throttle body when using aftermarket superchargers such as the Whipple 3.4L. The better the flow the more efficient the supercharger is and the end result is your motor creating more power. On our 2011-2012 GT500 we picked up 2lbs of boost and 70rwhp over the stock throttle body by switching to the Whipple Monoblade when using Whipple's 3.4L Supercharger.

-Fits: Stock Eaton, TVS, Whipple 2.9L, 3.4L and 4.0L
-Increased Boost
-More Power

Thanks,

Jim D'Amore III

how do you increase boost, boost is a measure of restriction. Just dont make sense.. But i know there is a power increase, just don't know about boost increase

Boost is a measure of restriction in the manifold after the air has exited the supercharger not before it enters the blower. If you increase air flow before it enters the blower ie. larger throttle body, bigger intake, smaller blower pulley your boost levels will tend to rise depending on the efficiency of the supercharger. Ive seen this happen on the dyno plenty of times to agree with the statement Whipple has put in their description I posted about the throttle body.

still for sale!! New lowered price!!

Is this streetable or for racing only?

It still remains streetable for driving use but is very responsive and requires good tuning. But its perfect for drag applications at WOT!!
