Is it just me or is that orange flex tubing they use a MTHRFKR PITA to deal with? What is the trick? Heat gun? Did I mention I hate that shit.... I think I would rather drop the FORE hat in rather than deal with that crap again lol.

My solution is a utility knife, I cut that shit out and use real hose as much as I can lol

Yeah if you guys want a quote on lines and fittings for your setup just let me know. You would just have to source a few clamps or an efi fitting. Here is the link to the russell connector to run a 6an line to the rail, they also make one for an 8 an line as well. I would personaly run an 8an line if your gonna upgrade, upgrade lol

Here you can see this fitting on a 6an line

Jeremy what year S197 was that OEM fuel line in the picture?

My 05 has a completely different style connector at the hard line that runs back to the fuel filter.

My 07 has (had) this line. They are a bastard to get off. Metak 90 at the hard line with a pretty nice metal lock. Awkward place to try to use the compression fitting tool while you pull like hell to disconnect.

This peice will convert you from the stock metal fuel line at the driver strut tower to your AN line.
Yup that will work. I just cut the old 90 off the stock plastic line and reused it. Clamped the new line on that and used one of those fittings you referenced on the metco fuel rail adapter for quick disconnect. I love that it has a threaded end on it.

My 05 does not have a metal lock where the OEM hose connects to the hard line - just snaps on. Still a bitch to get on & off.

I currently have the Russell 644003 on order - same as 644000 only in black. I will be upgrading to a AN8 line up to the fuel rails. I will not be using the OEM style connector on the Fore Innovations fuel rails though. Rather I will be using a straight AN8 fitting with a hose end connected directly to the driver's side fuel rail.

thats exactly how i did mine. i used the 644003 and i think i used a 45 degree fitting as well. then from there went straight to the fuel rail with #8 fittings. no adaptors other than the 644003.

that adaptor you have pictured is for a gt500, wont do anything for you on a GT. the 180 is just a normal 180 #8 FROM SUMMITT racing

It is on mine lol. I used this at the FORE fuel rail. I chose this to use the russel fitting and still be able to screw the line on. It is in the pic I loaded on tmcoleger's fore fuel rail thread. But no it would not work on stock fuel ral.
