Ok....I have gone through two weeks with this thing and cant seem to figure it out...I installed it and have gotten as close as i can to the right voltage for the tps...At least once a day the car just stalls out and forces me to pull over on the side of the road and shoots the check engine with the wrench sign at me......any one know what to do?? I've watched all the videos and even called BBk...they dont know what to tell me....I appreciate it guys!

Agreed, the aftermarket throttlebodies leave a lot to be desired in terms of quality and also longevity. The internals wear and begin to take up slack which again throws the PCM's calibration.

The drive by wire system is extremely sensitive to knowing how much air passes at certain throttle angles, changing this without changing the tune makes it easy to get the wrench thrown.

Even with changing the tune to match, the aftermarket throttlebodies have a tendency to wear and take up slack which again changes how much air is flowing.

The stock throttlebody really shines well until the 450-500rwhp mark and then the GT500 throttlebody is a nice upgrade to pick up a few more.

Welcome to the site.
The first one is on me:beer:

As the others have mentioned aftermarket throttlebodies leave a lot to be desired.

What are your current modifications and what are you trying to achieve?
There are quite a few of us that have been there and done that or are on our way there.

Well I would say put the stock piece back on and use the BBK for a paper weight and a reminder of a lesson learned that MM&FF is a shitty magazine that will print you a wonderful article if you advertise with them. But then it would just seem like dog piling.

More like go buy a new one from someone who upgraded to the GT500 because the original was pulled apart to install the motor onto the BBK POS

If ur a tool you deserve fire!
the gt500 is the exact same crap the difference isn't that noted at all. If anything go for a mono blade or something like that. Has anyone tried to port the TB and install bigger butterflies with the stock one?

Bbk Is A Smoke Blowing, Shit Talking Outfit, That After They Have Your Monet Doesnt Give A Shit About The Fact Tha Their Product Does Not Perform As Advertised. Some Of The "claimed Hp Gains" Are Bull Shit! Bbk = Better Be Krazy For Buying Their Bullshit Products.

Let's see what Accufab/FRPP comes out with for the Cobra Jet, from the sounds of it, it'll be a nice one.
