Fastlane is a very well know shop in the Raleigh area. The owner did the grabber blue s197 with the gt500 front and and huge blower. Check out the web site horsepowerjunkies.com. Caleb is the son and he has a pretty quick turbo gt.

I had them install may cams and LT's. they do great work.

The salesman told me the dealer doesn't own the car it is basically on consignment buy someone who works for fastlane and that they had built the car. It has a kenne bell mammoth on it and the price isn't crazy but just wanted some insider info. The salesman said he will give me the owners number tomorrow so I can call him direct but wanted to get a head start if anyone knew the car..

That's Taylor's car. I didn't know he was selling it. He's not on here, but I can try to give you the answers.

Also, I can vouch for him. Car is solid.

Salesman said he is having a baby and kind of panicked about it, so he put it up there for sale. I'm just curious how much track time it saw.

Hah! I just sent him a 'Congratulations!' txt. That freaked him out. I know him and the wife had been trying to conceive for a bit so this was surely happy news.

Track time; little to none. I know the original owner, who built it just for the heck of it. He then realized he liked project cars more than finished project cars, and got a truck and Fox instead. Taylor bought it, and I'm fairly certain he never took it down the track even once. That car was babied.

Thanks man, I am going to call the dealer back tomorrow and get his contact info. Wonder how much they are marking the car up compared to what he's asking.610 hp isn't crazy on the coyote motors is it?

I don't know who you've talked to there, but I believe Robbie Palmer would be the right guy to go to.

Also, I only have good things to say about those guys. They have a good reputation in my neck of the woods.

610 isn't crazy at all.

I actually talked to Chris whitehead. Seemed like a nice guy,but he's a car salesman so who knows.lol. He said if I flew up,they would pay hotel and transportation. That's a little bonus anyway..but I would drive if I decided to move on it.

I know the owner too. No track time for that car. I had thought about it. Who ever buys it is gonna get a hell of a car. Just like Ras said I will also vouch for him.

I thought it would make more power. It has 615 rwhp and is running a 2.8 supercharger at 10 psi with meth. Maybe it is a typo, but I put down 600 with roush TVS and 82mm pulley.

It looks like a very clean car. It is a tough market right now! Believe me I know! GLWS

That's ALOT of car for the money IMO. I'm sure it's detuned too. That KB Mammoth would shred that motor to pieces if pullied up. Car is absolutely gorgeous and well done IMO. Turn key go fast!!

I'd DO IT if you have the money!!!

EDIT: I see it's at $32K and the reserve has not been met. I wouldn't give more than that. <---just me though.

That car is gorgeous, and it is my favorite color since they still haven't brought screamin' yellow back! If I just weren't buying a house I'd be really tempted to try to talk the wife into this!!! I'd drop a TR6060 in it just to be sure about the trans and call it a day.
