Picked it up from the body shop. New hood fitted and painted. Just need to either find a new pair of hood struts, drill and pin the old struts, or find the old prop rod.

Thanks, I'm rather pleased with it. The new hood is a couple of lbs lighter than the stock one, and provides quite a bit of air flow while being somewhat subtle. Also, finally got the antenna base and side badges removed.

What hood is that? I'd love to get a hood that gives me enough room for a shock tower brace over my blower without having a huge cowl. Is it a Kaenen?

Installed some Detroit Rockers with out a valve spring compressor or a timing chain wedge with 1 and a half friends.

No, it's from Darrin from HO Fibertrends. The same guy who does the Cobra Jet hoods for Ford, as well as the 2010+ cowl hood for BBR.

My painter said it fit like the Kaenans he had done, and didn't take very much work to sit right.

Recieved my SOS dual gauge pillar along with a Autometer ultra lite mech boost gauge and Autometer ulta lite air/fuel gauge w/02 sensor.
