Hey all, unfortunately times and circumstances are dictating that I'm looking at selling the stang. I could really use the money, and simply don't have the time to enjoy it or take care of the little issues that crop up from time to time with heavily modded cars. I don't need money ASAP so looking around for a buyer is fine. I also don't have the time to return the car to stock. I know I'll be losing a lot there, but it's just not possible, as I'm currently in my first year in law school.
Here is a list of mods (I have spec sheets for a sale thread but generally listed for now to get an idea of what it's worth)
2005 Mustang GT - black on black, leather interior ~55,000 miles; 0 track time
Stock block, bored .020
Stock stroke eagle forged crank and rods
Manley pistons (not sure exact dish, comes out to about 9:1 compression)
Arp side bolts and head studs
Pa performance alternator
Techco supercharger - dual drive 8 rib setup @14#
Other misc motor parts, don't have the build sheet in front of me now
Was told it was good for 800+ hp at this point
Spec steel flywheel
Spec stage 3+ clutch
Dynatech aluminum driveshaft
Mgw short shifter
Roush vent pod
Roush boost gauge (newer style)
Kooks headers w catted x
Borla stinger catback
Frpp dual pump
I honestly don't remember what injectors are in it. I'd have to dig through some receipts.
Hto plugs
Bmr panhard, springs
Che uca, lcas
Steeda blue shocks and struts
CDC blackout panel
Multiple layers of sound deadening material in the cabin and trunk
^brand is raamat; great stuff
Agent 47 grill
Sve anthracite dd 03 cobra wheels
Tires are Falken Azenis (sp?) I think. 255/45, 295/40; plenty of life there
Pioneer double din head unit (not a screen)
^does have an aux USB input going to armrest box, for music play and charging, is Bluetooth ready for calls, is xm radio ready. Not sure about the exact model without checking.
I removed the stock spoiler and plugged the holes, but I still have the stocker as well as an unpainted CDC ducktail spoiler that I didn't end up putting on.
I'm probably forgetting something, but that's the gist of it. I honestly haven't had time to think about the car in so long, and some of the details are escaping me.
Now for the not so good.
The windows have that typical factory tint scratching on the inside pretty bad.
The ds mirror is a little loose. I'll probably replace that.
The rear ds quarter is still damaged from a side swipe, not terribly, but its there. I was quoted at 600 to get that fixed, and may do so before selling.
Lastly, the ds lumbar adjuster is internally broken, as happens.
The paint is in ok condition, but would be given a lot of attention prior to any sale.
On a good note, the car puts down ~450 at the wheels on 93 oct. the system just produces too much heat to do any more.
The good part is that on e85, it put down a solid 530rwhp, without over taxing any of the fuel system.
As it sits, I've been thinking 18k would be very fair. If I fixed the above points, I'd probably ask 19.5.
What do y'all think is appropriate for an asking price without really seeing it?
