Looks like the cheapest way I can get the Magnum XL conversion kit is right at $5K shipped, or maybe less shipping if its to commercial address which I can do.

I'll probably go with the Magnum if my MT-82 eats shit. Too bad the drive shaft and clutch/flywheel doesn't transfer over... I have the carbon fiber DSS piece and RXT clutch and flywheel. That shit ain't cheap! I haven't had any problems yet with 22k+ miles. Hoping it lasts a while longer..

lol, I wish... The car $ is running dry with this trans swap. The rest of my funds go to the house. The wife wants more tile

As for the overall cost, I've got Terry lookin things up and will get back to me tomorrow.

Ive googled about as much as I can google, and this trans seems to last some guys 30K and others had theirs let go before 2K!

One guy said that he thought he was out of the woods at 25K and then 26 hit and so did the 82... lol

With your power... I'd say start saving up for a Tremec swap.

Ya the G8 thought he had turned on the GoPro but he didn't. We got back to my house to watch and was like oh fuck no vids. And being we thought I lost a head gasket at first, then his tranny issues we wasn't going back out to make a vid. Today was plagued with issues. First run with him and G8 I followed and thats when my issues started. I got lucky I didn't lose a engine today.


And the G8 makes right around 520whp. He is put of fuel and has a fuel system but just hasn't got it in yet. When he does he is taking boost from 5.5lbs to 10lbs.

Thats my problem, she's keeps wanting a bigger place. Which means more money, which means less money for me to mod
