Let me know if you get the surging idle problem fixed. Mine does the same thing with Detroit rockers I installed like 3-4 weeks ago. I haven't had time to call brenspeed.

I talked to mile yesterday and he said to just drive my car for a bit and let the adaptive learning do the rest. He also said he cleaning my throttle body would help for sure. I can't imagine my TB is really that dirty with 35k miles though. Anyway since I left Work yesterday I'm only seeing about 150-200 rpm surge now. Its hardly enough to notice though. Since your problem has still persisted I would call and see if miles has any suggestions for you.

When I upgraded my throttle body my car was surging badly at idle. I removed the battery cable for a couple minutes then reattached it, fired up the car and let it idle for 2 minutes without the AC on and then 2 minutes with the AC on. The idle was perfect after that.

Mine is doing it less as well. I just kept switching tunes, around 4 times I reloaded/switched it. I read somewhere the other day about adaptive learning being the issue. I'll take that as being the issue!

I'm thinking I'll probably end up going through this again when I change out my throttle body and intake manifold next month haha.

As I posted above, when I did my TB I was told how to handle the idle relearn and it works perfectly. Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds to reset everything, fire it up and let it idle for 2 minutes without the AC and two minutes with the AC on. Done.

I'll have to remember that.

Casey, you dont wear gloves at the dealership? I do lol. I have at least 10 boxes of them lol.

I need to start wearing latex gloves. I have a pair of work gloves I wear cuz I was tired of busting my knuckles, but my hands are dirty as fuck. Always makes me nervous about getting the white interior of grannies MKS dirty lol
