i had invos on my last Mach1. real sold performer. i've since become a big fan of bridgestones but i ran Nittos for years. you dont realize how dated the 555 is till you strap on some more modern rubber. the invo is a great all around street tire, very comparable to the eagle f1 supercar just less expensive and has MUCH more grip when its cold. the f1s are usless when they are cold, like driving on ice. but at temp, they are both very similar.

The wear rating is 260 vs 300 for the 555s. The Invos have a AA traction rating vs the 555s A. I love my 555s but I am stepping up to a taller tire and the 555r was the only one in that size and it is rated at only 100. So I went to the Invos.

Looks good man! How'd you do it? Always wanted to give it a go but haven't!

I measured the middle of the hood then used 1"1/2 tape to separate stripes.
After that, i measured 10 inches at several points of the hood, taped again.
Masking is not very long, plus you can remove small particules of plasti dip on unwanted area with finger.
First try: i put a lot of plasti dip, and was too close from the hood. Result was very bad, you could see darker spots on the hood.

Then i applied another coat, but at 25-30cm from the hood and it cleared all my errors.

I think this is the most important part of plasti dip. You have to spray at a good distance. Then don't forget to remove masking and tape before plasti dip dries.
