2014 vett or 2015 stang..
Yes, that's great it went fast but we want to make sure it lasts.
then just cut to the chase and run it on AED tune. If it lasts a season on a shitty tune then it will withstand anything

BTW this Evo car has the L&M Tornado Block in it, not a FRPP Sportsman test unit.

Did I hear right that there are now 2 Ford racing blacks that have been damaged?

I presume you mean the new FRPP Sportsman block.

so you heard two broke huh?
I did. Something about leaking coolant on one and still pushing out cylinders on the other.
So, has Terry torn his down yet to verify his coolant issue is a head gasket and not a block issue?

I'll say this much. Based on what I know, I will no longer be chasing the 1000whp mark. I am going to sit tight at the 750-800s and call it a day so it lives a while.

MMR sleeved block is a option as well. They have been 7.0 with it.
wow thats crazy. No sense in building 1000 rwhp if you can only get a handful of passes out of it. The 3V blocks never had this problem, correct? Just the new coyote block? I remember taking pictures of a broken coyote a couple years ago when it failed, but at a lower hp level.
I guess if this is true, (that 2 of the new blocks have already failed) that a filled block is the only way to go for that power level. Bye-bye street car though.
Hmm this kind of discouraging ... Was hoping to see good results from the new block...
