IAT is pretty useless to monitor while driving IMO. It's nice to datalog for other purposes but while driving, there's nothing you can do about it and if you're wide-open, it's not like it's going to spike up and damage your motor out of nowhere.

quit tearing down my hopes and dreams!!!!

Wideband air/fuel is what you want to monitor. You can save your motor with that, let me tell ya

Next logical one would be fuel pressure or oil pressure. IAT and fuel pump duty don't really tell you much unfortunately.

I'm just saying those are going to be some of the things I have it cycle through, fuel pressure will be on there too, unfortunatly I don't think our cars have a oil pressure sensor.

Also, just as a life of my mustang update, I will not be going FI. I'll be selling off the parts I have aquired for the DOB build, and enjoy the car the way it sits now.

Before anybody makes assumptions, my plan will be to trade the car in for something (Not a 5.0) next year. The money to go FI for only 450rwhp just doesnt seem worth it to me. When I can pick up a 2011+ GT500 vert for 42k, and since I own mine I would only finance ~30ish, and be a pulley and tune away from 550rwhp.

Plus, Shelby's get way more bitches.

I thought about this myself before I did my mustang. But if could go back and do it again, I still would. Its much more satisfying having a car you built from the ground up that can hang with the heavy hitters. Only thing I'd do different is use a centri blower instead of the Whipple.

I've thought about it, but there is just always something that's going to go wrong with a 3v at those power levels.

And the amount of money it would require, it just doesn't make sense to me. A GT500 is a pulley/intake/tune away from 550rwhp, its just too easy!

I'll still mod the thing, pulley, exhaust, intake, etc, but there are many more GT500's living at 550-600rwhp with no issues than 3v's.

And I think the 2011 interiors are just much nicer places to be
