yes, but not a new concept as I understand it, Mihovitz has been using filled 4.6L 4V set ups with filled blocks to make 2500+ on Twins and run 6.0-6.20s in the 1/4 for a long while.

They must only be partially filled and not much. He does do a completely dry deck, but there are 8 coolant fittings in the valley and big one in the center core plug hole of each bank. That core plug is barely above the level of the block drain.

Mihovetz. MMR does it now, too.

Correct, I was talking about John.

we haven't torn it down yet, there is a hairline crack in the valley though.

just slammed at the shop right now, gonna get her broke down soon

i'll hav the backup car at MD

Do you have a spare block ready if needed?

That sucks, so much for that block. For nothing more than seeing, I cant wait to read more on the tear down.

I spoke with Steve today after a year and a half of no contact from BBR (SCT update bricked my tuner). I'm not making excuses for anything but I have edited my previous post pending the outcome of my current contact with them. I do believe things can change both good and bad for a company. The reason I started working with BBR was Johnny. We are both Medics and I trusted him as a brother in service. Even though he is no longer with BBR I'm willing to work with them on fixing the problems that I had originally. I have ran the BBR tune for over a year just dealing with the headaches in the drivability of my car since I don't drive it often. If they stand behind what he promised today then I would say things may turn around for them. There is a lot of disgruntled people on the forums from dealing with BBR, and at this time it seems they have taken notice. He understood and accepted my position and frustration on dealing with them. Here's to hoping they deliver. I'm a man of my word; I was asked to post up if everything works out and they deliver, and I will do so.
