mine have done it since I got them last year (I have put thousands of miles on them), I don't think they ever found a fix for it. I also have the slotted/dimpled rotors. your best bet is to get just slotted.

I'm thinking I should have never bought from this company in the first place.

how much you want for them if you put originals back on

Not worth shipping due to weight. They will go in the trash.

Yeah, I got the same BS. ...according to Mike he's sold thousands of the slotted / dimpled rotors and mine were the only ones he ever had an issue with... (-.-)

Expect the same reply, if I ever get one.

I sent him a PM Monday night, but havent gotten a response back. I am hoping to exchange for slotted.....

My suggestion for him would be to not sell these or put an obvious disclaimer on them. There is just not an advantage to the dimpled other than cosmetic and the cons overpower the aesthetics.

You probably won't get a response back by PMing. He seems to be more active on the Corvette forums compared to here.

I bought them more for cosmetic than anything. I take the car to the strip every once and awhile. I didn't buy drilled because I've heard that they can crack overtime. Had a friend have that happen to him.

I've had the same problem since day one. It does get a little annoying since I like to drive with the windows down most of the time. What are you gonna do? I can't afford to just replace them again.

Replace them is what I'm going to do.

Y'all must have. Some very sensitive hearing. I could never hear the clicking noise unless I was next to a building, divider or in a tunnel...

Yes, because I really want to drive down the road with my car sounding like something is broken. :handjob:

You probably fucked something up when installing then. I had the exact same setup and it wasn't loud at all. Get louder exhaust. It's a Mustang afterall

Yes, that's exactly what happened. Because it's easy to fuck something like that up. Also the reason why others have had the same problem. And the exhaust already is loud. I'm pissed if you can't tell. Don't tell me to live with it. EVEN MIKE HIMSELF SAID IT'S NOT NORMAL.

Highly Doubtful.

We had mine off atleast half a dozen times.. in different directions / different sides / one side stock the other TPS.. everytime the sound followed the TPS rotors. I even swapped the rears onto my cousin's GT and his immediately had the sound..

This is a bizarre issue that is ONLY happening with 05+ Mustangs which we cannot figure out why. So at this time we will stop selling dimpled rotors for the 05+ Mustangs and only sell cross drilled/ slotted or slotted only because of the noise issues.

We've sold over a 1000 set of rotors and many of those were dimpled. We've sold alot of dimpled rotors for the Vettes and never had an issue so it's very perplexing why it is happening for the S197 cars.

I have sent both of you some emails and PMs with some ideas..we will resolve this with you to your satisfaction

Thats probably a good idea. Hope you eventually figure out what is causing it, its a very strange issue.

We have no clue what is causing it and it only happens on 05+ Mustangs and not Corvettes which we sell ALOT of dimpled rotors.

I appreciate you reaching out Mike. I responded to your PM with some information.

There has to be something that is different with these cars causing the issue. Perhaps someone from this forum can stop by your location and let you do some testing.

Got my replacement rotors in from Mike yesterday and installed them today. No sounds whatsoever from the slotted rotors.

This is a video I took of the dimpled rotors. The noise was coming from all 4 of them.

I received my replacements yesterday as well. I will install next weekend and have no doubt the slotted only will be quiet.

TPS came through and I really appreciate their effort for myself and several other members.

When I got mine and there was quite burr on all the dimples. Slot's seemed fine. I probably should have stoned them flat. Mine would click quite a bit when I pressed the brake but not so much when off the brake. One pass down the track and hard braking at 125 mph and the are pretty quiet.

They do look good and have held up well .

Wow that is crazy!

That would drive me insane. Im glad you were able to get them replaced.

Now you see why I threw a fit.

They're a good compromise. I kind of like the looks better of just slotted now that they're on the car.

Mine were on for 1 month and 1,750 miles. That video was taken last week.

As you can see, mine did it regardless if the brake was depressed or not. And I did a lot of hard braking on them and they still clicked.

How did you get them to replace them for you? Mine are starting to drive me nuts, clicking down the highway and then getting louder under braking.
