Seer,

Curious if you tried the poly motor mounts before your motor blew? I am having the same 1-2 grind issues alot of other people are having.

Things I have done:

MGW Shifter,
JHR Braided clutch line
Che K member brace with torque limiters
RXT clutch with new 07-09 slave cylinder

It will not really grind when I do a rolling 1st gear hit... but mainly does it when launching the car.. So I assume my issue is still with engine torquing over. I could even have a weak factory motor mount.. who knows.

Planning on trying either the Lethal, or Steeda Red motor mounts to see if it helps my issue.

If that doesn't fix it, I am junking the tranny and throwing a Magnum XL with the extended tail section enclosed shifter. :mad2:

I did all of those things plus a wotbox and it pretty much solved my grinding issue. I also had steeda mounts.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully can get it done in the next couple of weeks. WOT box is in the plans too.

I have not been impressed at all with the JLT cans....IMO they are worthless, lol.

Mine would always be empty, I don't doubt they separate the oil, but on long drives the vacuum will suck the cans dry after it cools down. On long drives I could smell oil, cans would be empty. I replaced with "stef's" and I no longer get the oil smell and the cans retain the oil and water that the JLT's wouldn't.

Mine works good. I always get a milkshake in it when running e85. I have a closed system though. The can is on the driver side.

Seer,

The car is looking good. Glad to see it all back together and running good. When is it hitting the track? Do you think the urt will make more or less power than e85? My motors have always made more with e85 over pump even with the same spark. I'm really wondering if the race gas will bring down the power at the same boost level.

That was a while. Before I realized how quick it fills up. I usually empty it every 4-6 times out. I use a big Moroso can.

I have one too, and feel the same way. It's always empty. I think catch cans are needed, but feel the JLT doesn't do the job. I'd like to swap to a Bob's.

I'm not impressed with the JLT. Bob's or moroso for me.
