Fender conversion

id love to do the '13 gt500 front but i fell like people would see it thinking its a '13 gt500 then see the back half of the car and it would somewhat look like rice or one of these dumb asses with a v6 car and cobra emblems

Converting to a 2009 GT500 front end would run about $2k with an aftermarket KR hood (not counting paint).

If I had a 2005-9, that's the way I'd go...

Mine will be able that price but with a carbon fiber fender conversions and carbon fiber hood which wont need paint

Or are you simply (and I use that term loosely) going to take the glass ones, fit them and then make a mold for some CF ones?

Well i got my cousin who owns a bodyshop checking Certifit for the bumpers and hood i want,without paint it shouldnt be over a grand,thats including saleen grille and cali special bottom grille

That's not bad. I might look at doing a stock 2013 with roush grill. Now I need to finish my DOB kit and start saving. Good luck with yours.

Any updates to this build? I'm very curious as to how this will look and match up? I was on CRP website and although the pics detail of the mustang is not that great, some lines don't look too straight (from what I'm able to see). Just want to see after someone on here actually pulls the trigger

Agreed. I love the look at the '13 GT500, but I feel it would look too... Front heavy on a regular GT...
