So its got boost? If so Id start about 20k you never know what could happen. Loan value on a 2005 is probably higher then most think.

Going to be a hard sell. IMO, realistically based in my experience, $17-18 tops, more like 15-16.

You are right you will take a beating. I plan on keeping Ming and maybe buying a used Boss in a few years.

I'm in the same boat...too much into my car to get what I have in it back out.

You would be better off parting out the major stuff.

Better off selling off the forum's. Easier to make the case for what you have invested. Plenty 20 somethings would love the paint.

Broke dafuk down
I know ill loss my ass and it will be hard to sell a custom paint like this one but I'm just not sure. I have a built motor ready to go into it and either max out the eforce or upgrade to a blower with more powder. However I'm dick of throwing money at it but I can't keep it like this either lol. UGH.....

More mods you do more you will lose.. I would NOT put a built motor in that to try and sell the car. Will further limit your market as it would command more money. More money down as loan value will not change unless the loan company would work with an appraised value instead of book.

Freagin sweet lookin ride. Not in the market but that is a car I would pay to have. Need the right buyer

I am in the same boat. I have SO much invested I will NEVER see even 1/4 of what I have in it. Did not build it for an "investment" tho and knew this going in. Lost my ass on all cars I have built. It is a hobby

You're not selling this Greg. I agree you should sell the other two off, but this one has too much work done. The only other owner owner this car should have is maybe your son when he's ready since he helped with the paint design.

My mechanic explained this to me as well. This is my hobby so enjoy it but NEVER think about trying to get back the money spent. His hobby is golf and he will never get back the money he has spent (other than a small percentage from the used clubs). The only money we can usually get back is just a small percentage from the used car.

If the dollars are that important to you then part it out. The paint job is worth about zero unless you find the one person who has to have it, and then that person would probably do their own paint instead of buying yours. Over two years on the Mustang forums has shown me that parting it out is the best way to make money on a used car. Sam did pretty good with his wrecked 2008 Shelby but he worked his ass off to do it.

Your car pulls them off nicely. They look like a matte black but my eyes have filled me before?

Out of curiosity, how much are you looking to get?

They are matte black. I'm looking to get 1350.00 (locally) 5 wheels one never been out of box and 275/30/20 295/30/20 gererals with 12k miles on them. One wheel has three Knicks in it from car wash but other are perfect. I bought a fifth wheel because these wheels were discontinued 4 years ago.
