Picked up Bonamassa's latest Live from Nowhere in Particular.

Best yet!!!
What an awesome album and artist.
He has added a keyboard to the band and I was skeptical.
Nice addition. It really rounds out the sound.
And as usual Joe is freakin HOT!!!!

The story behind this album was that they recorded all the tour and then went back and picked the best of the best.
Hence the name.

Great Job they did too.
I would suggest grabbin it for you Git Players (I am sooo damn enveyous of you people) you wont be disappointed.

Here is something I thought was cool.
Do a search on U-Tube for:
Joe Bonamassa Signature Sounds Styles & Techniques

There is an 11 part series on sound technical from sound boards to amps and stuff I know nothing about.

Check it out.

I'll suffer through it but someone better fetch me a beer...

Here is my Epiphone Les Paul Studio in a couple different types of lighting. Changes all sorts of colors.

I don't have any pictures on hand to put up, but I have an Ibanez SZ-520QM, Fender Stratocaster (black body, white pick gaurd just like bryan adam's from back in the day), and a Martin DCX-1E. Used to have a Schecter semihollow body (cant remember the name of it) and a cheap ibanez acoustic, gave that one away and sold the schecter.

Up next on the list is a Caparison Angelus HGS-GM, http://www.guitarasylum.com/product_pages/caparison/angelus_hgsgm_problack.html
it will be mine, oh yes... it will be mine....

Also highly reccomend this: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Vox-amPlug-Metal-Headphone-Amp-104915285-i1385633.gc
it's awesome

Just tuned the acoustic to C and the Les Paul to Drop C. I really like the sound I get from tuning to C. Very stoner rock. Solo parts seem to sound better as well.

I have a Washburn SBF80 that I keep strung/tuned that way. Good for when I'm doubling acoustic parts in the studio.
That is a pretty interesting set up.
Tuning to C is similar to E tuning.
Standard E: E A D G B E
Standard C: C F A# D# G C
To get the best sound, you need thicker strings. Many guitars need to be set up for it or you get fret buzz. My LP is buzzing a lot right now.

Just found out my overdrive pedal uses power any time it is plugged in. I didn't even stomp on it and the battery got sucked dry. Time to get a power plug for it.
