So you are hearing the noise in the Starter area the loudest. Is the car a stick or Automatic? When the motor was put back in if it is an Automatic are you sure all the Flex Plat Bolts are properly secured?
Yes... The car is a stick.. All the flex plate bolts (8) are all torqued down with ARP hardware
What is your idle oil pressure?
Idol oil pressure was around 60lbs

if its an auto flex plate could definetely be the problem

It is a manual flex plate with less than 500 miles on it....

The video that is posted definitely had some valve train noise in it as well but all that has gone away... Im not sure what could be causing the clutch to make a knocking noise... god if I put that disc in backwards I think it would be causing more issues than that lol...

On a 3.8" stroke crank, it may be necessary to modify the windage tray.
I know mine needed it.
Stock windage tray that is.

This. Did you check the windage tray and crank for interference? You wouldn't be the first person to have a lower motor knock after building a stroker.

Im pretty sure the windage tray was good to go... I turned that sucker over by hand 100 plus times while it was on the stand and never noticed any contact....It is not a stock windage tray I know that for sure...

Also as I stated while priming the motor (turning it over with everything unplugged) the noise is not there... which rules out everything but the starter.... primed it with vc off too watch and make sure everything pumped up nicely and it did....

well, definately check all the simple crap first. From the video all I hear is the valve train noise but you said that is good now

What windage tray you using? shimmed as per instructions? I would ask the builder what procedure/instructions they followed when they installed the windage tray just to be sure. That and how bout the pickup tube? I see the tape in your pic so assume it was measured out

I put the windage tray in myself...just laid it on there and used the ARP hardware to secure it... windage tray, washer then nut... The rotating assembly was not hitting at all when it was on the stand...

I changed out the starter and the noise I heard down there went away...

But the knock is still there though

What I don't understand as why it goes away when rpms are added into the equation....Im going to take a new video and post it....

What clutch and flywheel are you running?

With the car running can you get your hand on the starter to see if you can feel it knock?

Stock clutch and Spec steel flywheel

There was a knocking noise there.. I replaced the starter and knock went away...

Aftermarket k member? I had a similar noise that would go away after the motor was completely warmed up or above a certain rpm range. It started after I had swapped in a k member. I chased and replaced a few things but in the end the noise went away when the stock k member was put back in.

Sounds very similar to when I had a loose spark plug, chased that tick for months and finally got a misfire code. Did you check to see if your plugs are all tight?

Yeah they are all snug... this a little more than tick... I ordered a new set of lash adjusters and followers from american muscle....

Unfortunately going away with higher RPM isn't really a good thing, when I had a bent rod it would do the same thing...but I still had a bent rod hitting the crank, just didn't make any noise at higher rpm for some reason.

I'd do a leak down test at this point if it were me.
