Just ordered my paxton throwback kit from brenspeed! Really excited (fiance not so much) about going f/I. After 4 mustangs this will be my first supercharged car. I'd like to hear how everyone likes their centris.

Yes it is, at tax time I plan on doing the intercooler in time for spring.

Congrats. Yep, you'll want that intercooler in Hotlanta for sure. Otherwise it will pull timing like crazy.

Yeah buddy I've heard of 30hp difference from heat soak. Its not a daily driver so either way its going to make me smile everytime I get on her.

It should be illegal to supercharge a coyote dammit. I have to supercharhe just to keep up with stock 5.0 lol. Now I have to forge and supercharge!

Hi Doug ...

I think you will like it just fine.

I have ran both the Paxton, Vortech, $ Saleen twin-screw.

They all work very well.

Congrats on your new incoming Paxton Supercharger.

Gabe,

That is my thinking also.

Terry

Yeah, that's what I got from Doug when I spoke with him earlier. Nice guy, gave me some stuff to think about.

Didn't sway me from wanting a Whipple though

I bought my Paxton Throwback kit from Brenspeed. The kit is an easy installation. Just take your time. I knew going in to it I would eventually intercool it. The tune that comes with the kit is pretty conservative. It would pull timing when temps were in the 90's. I just recently added an intercooler that I pieced all the parts together myself. I drop down a pulley size to account for lost boost. I am now in the process of remote tuning with Lito!

Cxracing fmic?
Was the car driveable after installing intercooler without changing the tune?

It won't change a thing tune related unless you move the maf location. It will suck up about 1-2 psi so you might want a smaller pulley. IIRC my cx racing setup knocked about 2psi off.
