Anyone on the boards running F/S?

I just read the rules and the only way my S197 doesn't fit is the k-member rule >.<

I made a build thread a few weeks back but have been lazy to update all the stuff ive done lol..

they say no aftermarket brakes in the rules but I remember a red 99 cobra running aerospace brakes going 11.6's, So I mean would they be leanant on a k-member kit? As long as it meets the required 3250lb weight of course


Im not going to run a full season, but would nice to maybe go to 1 or 2. Or at least build my combo to be competitive

Matt, if you can't go 11.0's in 80 degree weather naturally aspirated you wont come close to being competitive in that class. It's not likely an S197 following F/S rules can be even close to competitive. These guys really have their shit together and the cars are no joke. Take a look at the Super Stang class.

Dam 11.0's now huh lol.... I remember them going 11.6's and that was fast. I plan on going 11.8's but no where near 11.0's on my street car. I will check superstang thanks man

The record right now in the class is an 11.0 something. I was considering building my car to this class spec a few years ago and decided against it.

After reading the superstang rules I know this would be the perfect class. The first race at milan means its only 3 hours away from toronto

That sounds like last years schedule, I think it's still posted that way some places on NMRA digital. First race this year is at Bradenton FL. Milan will be June 12 and 13. SST will run in all 7 events this year.

Yea he went 10.96 in F/S trim at our World Cup race in Nov@ MIR, so 11.60 will be getting you a first round loss.
