More shitty american muscle business practice

The best part was that they offered for me to purchase it at $264.99 and then toss it up on their site for $324.99? lol...get outta here!

"The order you placed for the SLP Loudmouth Axle-Back Exhaust (05-10 GT, GT 500) has been cancelled. The price listed on our website was an error; the price for this item is $361.99. We apologize for this unfortunate mistake and any inconvenience that it may have caused you. If you would like to reorder this item you may do so by calling in. We can offer you this item for $264.99. If you have any questions please feel free to call in or email us.

How is that shitty business practice? Some dude presses the wrong button on his keyboard or leaves a number out and AM should eat thousands in losses because a bunch of people tried to take advantage of them? They are in business to make money, not give out free parts due to an error.

At least they offered to give you a discount...they don't have to give you anything. It was a misprint. That happens.

I'm tempted at that price.

Yes it's a mistake, but at least honor that mistake. I mean it sold out fast, so they could change the price back to normal after it became back in stock.

Then again I'm still upset at them for not keeping the 19x8.5 black amr wheels in stock and making me wait like 46 days for one, so you could call me biased lol

He loves it. He was a bit concerned about it being too stiff. Now he thinks he can hang with my full-up BMR/Koni suspensioned GT. I think he's exaggerating the improvement.

Cool. I just discovered that one of the previous owners of my car heated the rear springs to "lower" it. Now I know why it rides like shit.

Today i installed my Magnaflow Magnapack catback. It sounds so much better than the single chamber flows that were on there.

Pretty easy to tell once you get a close look at them isn't it? They end up flat for a coil or a few.

Changed out my break in oil. The motor has about 1300 miles on it. No oil consumption has been noted.

I put Super Tech 5w-20 in it. 5 quarts of synthetic and 3 of conventional. My own synthetic blend, lol.

The GT500 oil pan combined with frpp filter and big bore motor holds about 8 quarts when full.

I had the Magnapacks on mine, loved them! But when I went to Mac O/R H (no pro-chamber) it was way too loud, I switched to the regular Magnaflows for the perfect balance of volume, deep tone and the slightest rasp and pop. :thumb2:
