I searched. We used to have a sticky for 1/8th times but it is gone….

Anyone know why and can help? I'd planned to get back into 1/8 racing now that I am a free single man and have a little budget for racing again…

I wanna be able to post when I beat my 7.86 best time!

What are your mods for that 7.86 pass? My best is low 7.90s in good air.

Those numbers were before my stallion TQC was installed

…and on a cool TX night in February some time back. Also before those great guys at Brensped got ahold of it last Friday.

There used to be a sticky showing all 1/8th times. Just like we had 1/4 times….the sticky is gone…I'd like to know where I rank if I start turning 7.6s!

I deleted. Not enough people using, plus you can see everyone's 1/8th mile ET on the 1/4 mile list. Plus you have a 14 GT500, I want to see a 6.9X 1/8th from you. Represent.

Plus most don't care about 1/8 mile. 1/4 mile is where it's at. Heck, I have a 1/8 mile track 30 minutes away, and a 1/4 mile track 90 minutes away. I drive the 90 minutes. Personal preference of course! :beerchug2:

^^^for sure, but how many of those guys are on this site?

Oh, none, my comment was to,the post above mine, as a general comment.

For this site, I agree, little need for a 1/8th list. :beerchug2:

Deleted as in for good? The track I would use is an 1/8th mile setup.

Bummer….wish you'd of unsticky'ed it and just let it float to the bottom.

Trouble is there is only one 1/4 mile track around here in DFW and that's the TX motorplex in Ennis. I heard Ford Fun Weekend is back so I may go this fall.

Don't know if I'm gonna drag race that 2014. I prefer not to be digging on the gearbox in such a short period of time on a 1/8th track. 1/4…maybe worth it cause I can wind the piss out of it.

Until the rear tires wear out on the GT500, I know I won't be drag racing it. Motherfucker does not get good enough traction on those OEM tires…and I'm too damn cheap to buy new ones until the threads are showing in these!

Blue Angel is really made for circle track or road course….I'd love to hot lap her at Texas Motor Speedway….but she's gonna need a roll cage and 5 point harness and a bunch of other shit to make her legal for that….I just want to drive her and have fun.

6.9 second ET on the 1/8th LOL!! The first one I ripped like that, if I could manage it would get me thrown out until I put a roll cage, got a fire suit, 5 point harness, etc. in the fucker!!! LOL!!!

Bluebonnet is made for drag racing! :high five: She's got drag radials, an awesome mean shifting automatic, plus now a fire pissing Brenspeed tune that I''m dying to try out at Northstar in Sanger, TX as soon as I get that tranny cooler on her.

We have five 8th mile tracks within 45 minutes of here. And as Mike said, only quarter mile track is in Ennis. More hassle than it is worth to try to do on a weekly basis.

Rumor has it that Adcock purchased Dallas Raceway and I "think" they are going to start racing out there again. Billy would definitely know since that is where he went all the time.

I personally don't care the length of the track as long as my pony is out there running it down! But if I had to choose id take a 1/4 mile anyday.
I run a 8.8 stock 1/8 mile in 07 GT

^^I agree, the main thing is to go to the track and have fun.

I like 1/8th mile racing also, but prefer 1/4 -- all though that has noting to do with why I decided to discontinue the 1/8th mile list.

Besides, on the 1/4 mile list every entry also has 1/8th mile times if you want to see how you stack up.
