GT500 Convertible, my "new" Mustang build thread.

Just added this lovely lady to the stable. It's an 07 GT500. All stock other than magnaflow mufflers. The mod bug bit me hard this time, so I got started immediately ordering some go fast goodies.

I picked up a VMP TVS blower, 2.5 pulley, JLT intake, Lethal offroad x pipe, MGW shifter, VMP throttle body, 72LB injectors, FRPP springs, BMR LCA relocation brackets, Steeda billet LCA's, BMR Panhard bar and brace, AFCO dual fan heat exchanger and larger tank.



Started here:


Tinted the windows, 5% all around, 50% windshield:



Got her lowered on FRPP springs:


Stripe delete time!



Got the MGW shifter installed. More to come soon!

Abdulla you should ditch the supercharger, have a custom hat made and run an S & H twin turbo kit. They would probably have to tweak the kit a little but I'd say Jeremy and Bobby wouldn't mind to do it, would be NASTY!

I was under the impression he want to pick that up to flip, however, I could be wrong. I'm sure either way, he's going to sell this vert as well at some point

I really bought it for myself, but we'll see what happens by the time it gets here. I'm having trouble getting it transported for some reason.

Yep. I think I'm going to trade these out for Bassani. I've never been a magnaflow fan.

I thought about a turbo kit, but it's just so much more trouble than it's worth IMO.

Just came in this weekend. My brother may end up buying it. If he doesn't then I'll keep both, or trade one for a Raptor.

A little progress for you guys! I've been hard at work this past weekend.
On sunday, I installed the following parts:
-Lethal off-road x pipe
-VMP TVS blower w/2.5 pulley
-08+ style crank pulley
-JLT 123 MM intake
-VMP Throttle body
-I.D 725 injectors

She runs and drives GREAT. I'm absolutely in love with the power it makes. Now I just need to finish up the suspension, install the heat exchanger and get some tires on her. Some new wheels and a driveshaft are in order next.
