The resistor wire on the front of the motor is a key on power source. It's pretty easy to find key on power with a multimeter and pin or needle. I've used the maf power before without issue.

Cutting into the harness isn't a big deal at all. If you screw up you can splice the wires back together. It's not like they are shielded or susceptible to bleed over.

Brian - you rock.

I agree, he's being so helpful and putting up with all my questions in PM lol.
Plus the great price
Plus the quick shipping
Etc...
Etc...

100% would buy from him again lol, a couple things in the kit are custom for our body style, but it's fun fitting the pieces together. It's "unique" having a 2010 kit on a 2006 =)

So with an ohm meter and no power to the relay, pins 30 and 87a should have no ohms as will pins 86 and 85. This will verify the pin outs and wire colors.

I also have my fans on the same relay with their own inline fuse like the one going to the pump. This is why I stated the pump fuse after the relay was optional.

Thanks for the diagram. What were you trying to point out in the second pic though?

Got the intake on last night and forgot to take a pic before I called it quits. After I get off work I'm going to run a couple hoses and put on the supercharger ;)

The relay I am using is mounted down beside the PCM. And I forgot to post the picture with fuse box with the add-a-circuit. I was in a rush to get to a meeting at work.

Here is the pic

Skipped past the connector while I am waiting on it. Got the intake on the night before last, and last night I got a couple intercooler hoses re-ran, the supercharger itself on, the injectors and fuel rail on, alternator bracket and alternator on, alt bracket pulleys on and the belt ran. Found another connector I'm missing and skwerl is looking in to it right now lol.

Won't get to do much to it tonight after work like the last couple nights unfortunately, work early tomorrow =X

You may need to pull the blower off in order to bolt the elbow on it. I always put those on as a single unit.

IAT plug is mailed out. You will get it Tuesday because of the holiday. Mechanic said you will also need to extend the two harnesses that plug to the throttle body. I'm guessing you will be very good at splicing wires by the time this is finished.

Also, looking at the picture you may want to check your belt tensioner and confirm the belt is tight enough. I believe when I had the 2.49" blower pulley I needed the 90mm idler to take up slack. That would be the aftermarket pulley you have that doesn't match any of the factory pulleys (VMP sells those for $69). It would replace the idler directly under the blower, between the blower and alternator.

Well drats, looks like I gotta take the belt off and put that on xD the 2.49 is the one already on the s/c right? I was assuming so

Yea I think that's why he was worried, because it's a drive side inlet. We'll find out tomorrow afternoon when I have time to work on it again =P

It's just a pita reaching over the engine and around the blower to get to the lower bolts. A lot easier on the bench and then just drop the blower in place. But that's fine, I'm sure you'll have plenty of practice in time.

justin a few pics of what you should expect to see on tensioner and belt with the 2.49 blower pulley, 90mm idler, and stock crank pulley

First connector has arrived. So now I need to revisit how to hook this thing up... reading over it I'm lost all over again. The wires on all of this just doesn't make sense to me. It seems like there's too many... why cant there just be a power wire soldered from the harness to the pump and then the ground for the pump like the instructions say? instead there's this relay with 5 wires =/

Here's the plug:

So remember red is 30, blue is 85, green is 86, yellow is 87, orange is 87A which we aren't supposed to use I guess.

What wire do I need to connect this black (power wire) wire from the connector to? And assuming I do cut in to the harness at the wire they tell me to and solder it, what wires would I use to get it to turn on when I turn the key on?
