I gotta say I think this is a step in the wrong direction. 250 lbs irs or not is a lot of weight. This car should have been 100-150 lbs less with 20 hp more for as much as ford has jerked us all off with this car.

It's all bullshit till it's proven, which Steeda has since removed the article based on guesses. Like I said, y'all need to stop freaking the fuck out.

On the bright side, this means vendors will be making a bundle on weight saving components.

Ford doesn't give us dealers shit for info. I hear about all the new stuff on the internet long before I hear it through my dealership.

Yep, only thing I got hands on to show was the pricing information. Who knows, maybe they will update the order guide with power numbers soon.

Was told the R&T article is more accurate. I knew the car was gaining weight but didn't think is was going to be much. The info came from the same person who told me about the 5.0 back in 2010.

I remember some models didn't update power numbers until Job 2, or even the next MY.

Agree 100%.

Yep. If the weight is going up 250lbs, I'll be focusing on weight reduction, max width tire fitment, and brake upgrades, in order to minimize the impact of the added weight.
