Make an intake that fits a 5.4 3V. Sorry, i'm bored. That is all.

Is the ford truck performance market as big as the silverado/sierra performance market? Because the GM truck is huge.

I feel like the amount of engineering required for one of these manifolds doesn't equate to the market for supercharged 5.4L 3v motors

Fall is going to be interesting for the 4v guys.... think about it, if the kit will fit on the s550 it will fit earlier years ;)

So... smart people wait till the s550 is out before designs are finalized

Bingo.

Could you imagine how profitable a coyote DOB kit would be? There are more model years for the coyote than the 3v now.

A 5.4 3v would be easy. Just mill a set of adapter plates for the 4.6. It's been done before for the 2v by Torque Tech with their M112 kits.

I would guess the adaptor plates would need to be quite thick. What sort of hood clearance issues would that create? The combination of a 5.4L, and adaptors probably doesn't leave much left.

A new alt bracket to retain current location would be simple to make.. maybe even allow the alt to go back to stock location.. blower would then be pretty close to hood. If so then cowl hood. If cowl hood then leave alt bracket alone lol

The market is huge for the 5.0. Unless you want to dump Rediculous coin for a pd blower then centri it turbo it is. This kit will change that. Think they are just waiting for their s550 to be delivered..

Yea I still a lot of the stuff leftover from my 3v kit. Hopefully some of it will still be compatible.

Wouldn't the 5.4 supercharger and all that's required from a cobra work on a 5.4 truck?

I have the second gen R-Spec sitting right here.

Being effectively out of business/without a production shop for 10 months put us about...........................a year behind. I'm lucky it didn't kill the whole deal.
