Brian,

There is a fellow over on www.IMBOC.com that has his Supercharged Bullitt Mustang for sell right now.

I don't recall all his info. but it seemed when I read the Thread it is a nice Machine.

I really did not pay close attention to pricing.

Might be worth looking into ..............

Well boys and girls the time has come! Car was on display at the Chicago Auto Show this year in the CMC booth. Gets tons of attention at gas stations and cruise nights. It is a nice looking Bullitt but I've already been down that road.

I hit up another dealership and test drove a 6 speed manual GT Premium and was much more impressed. It felt much more like a sports car than the auto trans. The dollar numbers were a lot better as well.

I have one more dealership to check out and I'm also getting pricing on a 2015 ordered the way I like. With 0% interest for 60 months it's difficult to justify buying a used car right now unless I found a GT Premium in the $27-28K range with very low miles.

The local dealer is a joke. 300 pickups and not 1 V8 mustang in stock.

I work for the largest Ford group in Northern California and between our 4 Ford stores we probably have a worse ratio than that, how does that make the dealer a joke?

Even over the winter, they had 1 in stock at the most. I know with model switch over, the inventory depletes. Some dealers just won't carry them, but some dealers do and do well with them.

In the general theme I have going with the grey/charcoal/matte black look, I tried a little something with my front plate. Plastidipped the plate and then trimmed the letters/numbers and reg sticker. As the flash photo shows it still has plenty of contrast so I don't think I'll get hassled by John Law. I like the muted look but might try another variation tomorrow.

In New York there is a law about that. I would just check with the dmv site about doing that sort of thing as well.

I think it's a law in every state no? Plates are state property.

They are pretty cool around here. If they don't like it I can just peel it off right then and there. I haven't read up on MO requirements, but in KY the way I did it would be legal.

Committed a cardinal sin...installed a hitch. Yes, I also have a beater that can do this sort of thing but I'm tired of leaving the Stang at home when I want to ride. I also want to start taking my bike with me on vacations and the GT is my vacation car. No towing, I didn't even wire lights. The hitch is strictly for the bicycle rack.

I don't see a problem with that. It's not like there are straps that will be flapping into your paint, or the front wheel will be swinging into the rear bumper.

Bad ass bike, by the way.

Thanks. :)

Nothing touches the paint in any way. I cringe whenever I see those strap on trunk racks flailing around the back of a car. I can't imagine subjecting either my car or bike to that sort of abuse.
